Coming from Team Bomber and made for their TB-AK12 1/12th scale pan car kit are new centre shock springs. Designed for the car’s big bore centre shock and also usable for many other cars utilising the same design, the springs help to fine-tune bump handling and rear traction according to the track conditions. The springs are made of high-quality steel, precision manufactured, and they come in colour-coded hardnesses of soft, medium and medium-hard.

Traxxas Slash & Rustler 4×4 HD chassis brace

Traxxas have introduced their new heavy-duty chassis brace for the Slash 4×4 Ultimate and all Rustler 4×4 models. Made from thick extruded aluminium, the oval-shaped brace increases torsional rigidity and dramatically strengthens the chassis to reduce flex. Brilliantly anodised in four high-impact colours, the HD chassis brace provides structural reinforcement for high loads and hard landings. The brace is a direct fit on the Slash 4×4 Ultimate, any 4×4 Slash equipped with the low-CG chassis, and it also fits all Rustler 4×4 trucks.

Maclan Racing welcome Felix Law

Maclan Racing have announced the signing of Felix Law to their factory team. The US frontrunner and IFMAR Worlds finalist has inked a multi-year and while running Maclan Racing electronics at all major races he will also represent the brand at the track while helping with R&D of forthcoming new brushless speed controllers and motors. Felix has the following to say about the deal:

I’m excited to join the R&D team of Maclan Racing. With the initial testing of the products Willie has to offer, I found their lineup to be focusing on quality & racing needs. With all my knowledge from the past, I will do my best to evolve their product to the next level.

Yeah Racing SCX10 III brass portal axle covers

Yeah Racing have introduced their new brass portal axle covers for the Axial Racing SCX10 III and Capra trail trucks. Weighing in at 20g per piece, the covers add a good amount of extra weight to the wheels area, improving climbing and descending performance over the standard composite parts while also reinforcing the axle area. The covers come as pairs and sport an engraved YR logo.

Maxim Laverychev wins Russian double header race

The 2020 Russian Cup and Russian Championship was a double header race that took place at the Lemar Modelsport track recently. Due to the Coronavirus the race wasn’t so well attended, but racing was tight an in the end it was Maxim Laverychev with the win in the Modified Touring classes of both the Russian Cup and the Russian Championship with both races run on the same weekend. Ilya Plakhotnik came in 2nd overall in the Russian Cup while Andrey Samoylenko rounded out the top 3.

Bartek Zambrzycki wins at Polish Off-road Nats Rd4

Round 4 of the Polish 1/8th Off-road Nationals was held in Wlodowa last weekend. The event took place on what is considered the country’s largest and most challenging off-road track with the weather – hot and dry on Friday and Saturday and cold and wet on Sunday – further adding to the mix. It was Bartek Zambrzycki (Agama) who showed maximum adaptability to the changing conditions, securing the TQ as well as the win after the shortened 22-minute A-main. Tomek Gadnicki (Xray) came in 2nd overall from Igor Goderski (Mugen) in 3rd.
