CRC Gen-X 10 235mm Expansion Kit

CRC Gen-X 10 235mm Expansion Kit

Calandra Racing Concepts have released this 235mm expansion set for their popular 200mm Gen-X 10 chassis. Each hub extension is 15mm wide, bringing your stock 200mm Gen-X 10 out to 230mm and this allows the driver to tune the rear track width with shims to get just the right width for the body of your choice. The wide front end plates included in set feature two sets of front end holes, the inner set is for most of the popular 1/10 pan car GTP bodies that taper in at the front, while the outer set is for wider “nitro car” bodies such as the 235mm Lola from Parma.

Serpent S120 1/12th scale

Serpent S120 1/12th scale

Kept under wraps at the Toy Fair back in February, Serpent have just released the full information on their long awaited 1/12th scale chassis, the S120. The S120 chassis consists of 2 main elements, the 2.5mm thick carbon fibre chassis plate and the rear single piece aluminium motor pod. The chassis uses a T-bar system, which has adjustable tension thanks to its unique tweaking system is damped using a conventional centrally mounted shock absorber together with a laterally mounted floating monoshock. The front end of the car is completely adjustable and utilises the now standard fixed lower suspension arms combined with active top wishbones, which together with kingpin mounted springs ensure that the car is able to corner at high speeds and soak up any small bumps found on the racing surface. Exclusive – New Corally RDX Phi

Exclusive - New Corally RDX Phi

Seen on the pit table of Corally team driver Marc Fisher, who is present at the 4th round of the European Touring Series in Andernach, Germany, we got an exclusive look at the new prototype Corally RDX Phi. Due to be used by the factory team at the European Championships next month in Vila Real Spain, the new car sports all new geometry front and rear and a more conventional shock absorber mounting, mounted to the rear of the rear shock tower and not to the front as on the current car. Designed to cure some problems that affected the cars handling, Fisher is getting used to the cars settings in order to gain more knowledge prior to the Europeans. Also new on Marc’s car is the GM Genius 120 brushless speed controller that has a much smaller footprint than the previous versions and comes with a built in cooling fan.

UPDATE: We have been asked by Corally, through Marc Fisher, to remove the images as he was apparently not meant to show anyone the car….Doh! We will of course oblige, even though most people have already seen it, to stop Marc getting into any more trouble.

Associated Factory Team RC10R5 Kit

Associated Factory Team RC10R5 Kit

The new Factory Team RC10R5 is Team Associated’s entry into the fast-growing 1:10 scale World GT onroad racing class. With Team Associated’s twenty-five years of 1:12 and 1:10 scale onroad racing history, we are very excited to offer the Factory Team RC10R5 to this new emerging class. Starting with the highly successful RC12R5 platform, the designers in Area-51 built the bigger RC10R5 on a 2.5mm woven carbon fiber chassis that utilizes a pivot-ball link rear suspension that allows for independent adjustments for chassis roll, bump and alignment. Having the ability to make these chassis adjustments independently gives the RC10R5 greater potential to get the best possible handling from the car and the track surface. While testing, the pivot ball-link chassis has proven to be more durable in high speed impacts and much better in bumpy track conditions.
