New from Italian company Capricorn is the set of front left and right steering blocks for the Lab C801. The new parts help increase the angle of the steering up up to 6 degrees for better cornering.

Reflex Racing have released some new items for the Xray T4 and Associated TC6.1. Firstly for the T4 there is this asphalt spring set which comprises of springs that are more progressive which compliment the Xray T4’s low center of gravity to yield more steering and corner speed. The progressive springs act softer in the beginning of the corner to give more steering and then stiffen up as the car makes it’s way around the corner, to provide better mid and exit steering. The Progressive spring set includes 4 pairs of springs and while these springs are our preferred items for asphalt, they will also work quite well on carpet. Reflex also offer machined Delrin pistons with 3/6 Holes and 4 holes (1.0-1.2mm holes).

Xray have released complete details on their update NT1, the 2013 spec. With a lot of focus on the shocks, the car features new low profile shock with new internals including Delrin pistons and of course all new shorter springs, the new design helping to lower the car’s centre of gravity. To cater for the new shorter shocks, there is all new shock towers while for the rear upper links there is a new upper bulkhead with new roll centre adjustments. Other new parts include an all-new front wire anti-roll bar for smaller technical tracks, new narrower chassis, new Mutli-Flex radio plate as well as an all new reverse clutch set with updated parts for smoother and faster acceleration.

World Champions KM Racing have released a Meen version of their H-K1 to commemorate their victory back in November. The full option kit will come with blue anodised aluminium bulk heads and the option of mounting the steering servo to the main chassis or top deck. Other included part include new high efficiency brake disk, rear body height adjusters, front anti-roll bar system, aluminium servo horns, full set of anti-roll bars and spur gears and will have the customers name engraved on the chassis plate. Exotek Racing introduce a limited edition conversion kit for the Tamiya Evo5 and Evo5 MS chassis. The kit is specially designed for the use with stock motors and has an opening in the top plate to work correctly with just smaller spur gears and large pinions used in 13.5T to 21.5T type blinky classes. Because of this the largest spur gear that can be used must be 34mm diameter or smaller. Larger spur gears are usable by adding shims under the top plate to raise it up. The kit brings the somewhat older Evo5 to latest 2013 specs with inclusion of an ultra narrow 84mm chassis made from 2mm carbon fibre. Also included is a flex top plate for rubber tire racing, a LiPo cradle system with adjustable sliding holders, tapeless yet tweak free LiPo locking tabs and a hanging low-profile servo mount to reduce chassis scrub. The top plate is drilled to accept Evo5 and Evo5 MS motor mounts. The kit is designed for the experienced racer and limited to 60 pieces world wide.

PSM introduce two new carbon fibre option parts for Team Associated’s TC6.1 touring car and the RC8.2 buggy. Starting with the TC6.1, available now is a 2mm carbon top ‘flexx’ plate. CNC-machined from PSM’s glossy fibre material the plate weights only 9g and incorporates an additional chassis post mounting position to adjust the torsional flex of the chassis if needed. The part is a direct fit on the TC6.1’s chassis. Also new is a carbon fibre radio plate for the RC8.2 nitro buggy. CNC-machined from 3mm carbon fibre that part is designed to better resist heat and to improve servo fitment. It incorporates a personal transponder mount and comes with all needed hardware such as bolts, nuts, washers and posts.

Capricorn introduce new option parts for LAB C801 1/8th nitro on-road and LAB TE01 1/10th electric chassis as well as a new EFRA-legal 16% race fuel. Starting with the chassis parts, the Italian company introduce a modular alloy chassis plate for the C801 with a special weight system to adjust front and rear balance as well as the overall weight of the car. The chassis is machined from high quality aluminium, sports a 1mm lower engine position and accommodates a rear brass weight and your choice of a front lightweight carbon fibre or heavy brass insert. Also new is an optional 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis plate for the LAB TE01 4WD electric touring car kit. Last but not least comes a new nitro fuel that complies with the latest EFRA rules for 16% fuel. It comes in a newly designed can, extracts the maximum performance from the engine and reduces internal parts wear to a minimum.
