Protoform Lexus LFA body

Following last weekend’s sneak peek, Protoform have released its rendition of the Lexus LFA body for R/C drifters, USGT Class racers and supercar enthusiasts alike. The LFA features sleek, yet muscular styling and includes two rear wing options, a racing-style lexan wing or a molded nylon wing for a true to scale, exotic look. This officially licensed product is designed to fit 200mm touring cars but will also easily fit your 190mm chassis with the use of wide-offset wheels or wheel spacers. Molded in genuine .030 Lexan material it comes with protective overspray film, window masks, detailed decal sheet and hardware to mount the struts and wing.

Serpent Cobra GT shock springs

For the 1/8 Cobra GT and GT-e, Serpent have released this range of shock springs for the front and rear. Top quality hardened spring steel springs, they have been selected, paired and matched, feature precision ground flat ends and are color coded. The range includes 18lbs, 21lbs, 29lbs, 31.5lbs, 34.5lbs & 37lbs versions.

Spec-R R1 1/10th electric touring car

Spec-R have announced their new release, the R1 1/10 electric touring car. Featuring high strength and high precision anodized alloy parts for added durability and style, the back bone is the ultra narrow chassis design made from high quality 2.5mm carbon, with a 2mm thick upper deck. Slimmer transmission/motor mount components are designed for improved handling and smoothness and dual bellcrank steering gives precise cornering performance. The front/rear suspension arm mounts are fully adjustable and as you would expect from Spec-R there is a lightweight and smooth rear gear differential included.

Serpent S411 bumper plate & 966 body posts

For the S411 and 411 Sport, Serpent have released this nice carbon fibre top plate for the bumper, replacing the standard nylon version. It comes supplied with lightweight machined aluminium body posts and mounting hardware. For the 966 and other brand of 1/8th scale on road cars Serpent have produced theseĀ  new design lightweight and strong aluminum front body posts. Supplied with mounting hardware and body clips.

CRC Xti 1/12th scale chassis

Seen at this Summer’s World Championships and building on the winning heritage from the multi-Champion Gen-XL and Xi, the new Xti (Transverse or Inline) from CRC elevates 1:12th scale racing to the next level offering new and exciting features. The Xti features true inline battery configuration with a full size 1s IFMAR/ROAR battery pack. Unlike the some of the off-center ‘longitudinal battery pack designs’ that have popped up, CRC’s true inline configuration yields total balance and symmetry. Also new on the Xti, CRC’s infinitely adjustable Slider Rear Pod. The Slider Pod is a full aluminum motor pod with infinitely adjustable rear ride height. The Xti continues with their dual damper tube design and leads the way with the best-in-class rear damper, the CRC Encore shock.

Shepherd Velox V8 aluminium driveshafts

Team Shepherd have introduced the latest optional part for the Velox V8. The CNC-machined rear aluminium driveshafts are more than 50% lighter than the standard ones and help to increase the acceleration due to less rotating mass in the drive train. Manufactured from premium German 7075 T6 aluminium they are hard coated for extra durability and wear resistance and are available now.

VBC Racing Wildfire two piece joint drive

VBC Racing have released a number of new optional parts for their Wildfire touring car under the VBC Dynamics name. First up is a two-piece joint drive which features one of the widest turning angles in the market. Made with heavy duty hardened steel that can withstand heavy impact and offer precise steering, this two-piece joint drive works seamlessly with their included newly designed composite C-Hub. Also new is 3.5mm shaft end shoes made from a special self lubricating material. These low friction shoe shaft end provide a smoother and higher performance on the drivetrain.
