Arrowmax MRX5 clutch set

Arrowmax have released this clutch set for the Mugen MRX5 1/8th scale on road chassis. Its design features the tapered clutch plate instead of the tapered flywheel which ensures better punch and lots of top speed. Sold as a complete set including bell housing.

Protoform SRS-N 200mm sedan body

For all you racers that are preparing for the 2011 IFMAR IC Sedan Worlds in Thailand, here’s a new body you might want to check out, the Protoform SRS-N 200mm sedan. Pre-season testing was done by a select few team drivers during which the SRS-N has shown to be a genuine performer. Robert Pietsch used this body to TQ at the Pre-Worlds race in Bangkok in January and JJ Wang also used this new body to win the China Fortune (Fa Cai) Nitro Championships in Shanghai. EFRA approved (#2047) it provides great steering input while maintaining excellent stability. It features state-of-the-art aerodynamics as well as excellent detail and fits all the current 200mm gas sedan chassis and is available in Pro-Lite as well as Lite weight options. It comes with a protective film, window masks and decal sheet and an oversize nylon wing hardware is also included.

SRC carbon rear body stiffeners

New from SRC are this carbon fibre rear body stiffeners. Available in two versions for the SRC Lola 012 body and a different version for all brands of 1/8th on road bodies, the brace mounts to the cars rear body mount using the rear body posts and prevents deformation at high speed as well as protecting the shell in a crash.

Serpent 411-FF FWD touring chassis

Having seen the Serpent 411-FF at the Nuremberg toy fair Serpent has released full details on their first ever front wheel drive only car. Its based on the Serpent 411 TC 4wd car and shares many parts. Serpent has tested the front wheel drive cars intensively and achieved a perfectly balanced race-chassis, putting the front mounted motor as low in the front as possible. The front wheel drive system gives a unique drive-feel, very different from 4wd, but super smooth, easy and great fun. The Serpent 411-FF pre production cars have already won races in Indonesia and Hong Kong, and the cars will be run at the TITC in Thailand as well.

Shepherd V10 lightweight diff pins

In an effort to constantly improve the performance of their cars, Shepherd have introduced these extremely light diff pins for the Velox V10 made from high quality 7075 T6 aluminium. For improved durability and a longer life the pins are hard coated while the weight has been reduced by about 65% compared to the normal pins.

Team Titan Blitz XFR 190mm touring body

Team Titan have introduced their Blitz XFR 190mm touring car body shell for 1/10th electric TC with rubber tire setup. Meets GBS specs and is EFRA homologated (#4028) and the design gives a good balance of steering and stability, working well for both stock and modified racing. Available in 0.8mm standard and 0.7mm light weight versions.

Xray 41T narrow 64P pinion gear

Xray have released a 41T pinion to their already available line of narrow 64P pinion gears. Manufactured on a precision gear machine which has ultra-precise tolerances and assures unparalleled concentricity, after machining, the edges of pinions are chamfered and then the pinions are run in. The pinions are then specially treated to give them an even hard coating so they stay absolutely true for a long time. The pinions run great with any spur gears, and work perfectly with Xray spur gears where even throttle on/off noise nearly disappears.

Top Qualifier series from ATS-Tyres

ATS-Tyres have released their Top Qualifier series of tires that have been created for all racers, who do not want to throw away rubber and money. These tires are already trued to the most common diameters for heats and qualifying and will be available on the most common rim styles and most common shore combinations. You will save money, storage space and time, because no truing time, no waiting in the truing area, just put them on the car straight out of the box and the price for these these TQs will be significant lower the the Final (Standard) size tires. The 1/10 scale fronts come in 60mm, instead of 64mm, while the rears are 62mm instead of 66mm. The 1/8 scale fronts are 67mm, instead of 71mm, while the rears are 74mm, instead of 78mm.
