Infinity Carrying Bags

Creation Model has introduced two new Infinity bags for hauling all your racing gear around to tracks.  The carrying black bag with bright red straps is offered in a standard 2 box and large 3 box option.  The included boxes are made of plastic, which offer more durability and water-resistance than ordinary cardboard boxes and they fit 1:8 nitro onroad cars perfectly, together with tires and parts which can also be stored in an organised manner. The side opening has a double zipper for ease of use.

T-Works 3.5×8.5mm Aluminium Shim Set

New from T-Works is this 3.5×8.5mm aluminium shim set.  The black anodised shims are available in 4 sizes, 0.5mm, 0.75mm, 1mm and 2mm with set case containing 10 pieces of each.  Individual sizes are also available separately to restock the set.

Redcat RDS Competition Drift Car

Redcat is releasing a competition spec rear wheel drive drift car, the Redcat RDS. The RDS is ready to run and includes all the necessary radio gear and electronics to get you on the track quickly.  As most drift competitors already own several battery packs, the RDS does not include a battery or charger.  It will accept a competition style 2S shorty LiPo pack, LCG 2S shorty pack, or a standard sized 2S stick pack. Redcat engineered the RDS, from the ground up, for a specific purpose, to compete.  The lead engineer on the project, Shane Mikula, is a seasoned drifter who owns and operates a competition drift track/hobby shop.  Mikula’s track, named TandemRC, is one of the top drift tracks in the US. Mikula has been at the centre of the drift scene for many years, getting direct feedback from fellow drifters. Through his own experience and others’, he’s definitely learned a thing or two about what competitive drifters are looking for in a competent car.  Using this knowledge, the Redcat engineering team has developed a highly competitive rear wheel drive drift car that excels on surfaces which are found on many prepared RC drift tracks, such as carpet, p-tile, and polished concrete.

The Drake Racing LED Tuning Screw Driver

Adam Drake’s The Drake Racing has released this LED Tuning Screwdriver which has been created by his longtime friend and accomplished racer Billy Fisher.  Featuring glossy carbon fibre housing, the lightweight design has is fitted with 3 bright LEDs controlled by a recessed 2 step push button switch.  The lights are powered by LR44 button cell batteries and it accepts 4mm diameter tips. You can purchase the complete screwdriver, driver only, or tip only.

R1 Wurks Super Short 13.5 motor

New from California company R1 Wurks is their new ROAR approved Super Short 13.5 motor.  The stator on this motor is 6mm shorter than their V21-S motors, allowing for the weight to be more towards the middle of your chassis for a better centre of gravity.  Both a 17.5 and 21.5 turn Super Short motor will be added to the range shortly.

Reedy Zappers SG5 HV-LiPo LP shorty

New from Reedy is the Zappers SG5 HV-LiPo LP shorty battery.  It features a new hard case design and state-of-the-art LiPo chemistry with advancements in cell manufacturing and battery construction that result in higher capacity and power output, lower internal resistance, and improved durability.  Zappers SG5 HV-LiPo batteries feature a 3.8V/cell nominal voltage, which means that the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell.  It is well known that more voltage equals more power so there is no easier way to increase power and top speed than a higher charge voltage!  Even when the typical 8.40-8.44V (4.2-4.22V/cell) charging limit is enforced, Zappers SG5 batteries shine thanks to their inherently flat discharge curve which results in higher voltage deeper into the race.  A high quality, durable hard case helps prevent damage while embedded socket connectors keep power-robbing resistance to a minimum. Male ESC connectors are included!

Tamiya TT-02 Type-SRX

It is a chassis that has been the starting point for many a newcomer to the world of RC racing and today Tamiya unveiled the latest edition designation of its TT-02 1:10 Touring Car, the Type SRX.  This variant of the 4WD plastic chassis is an upgraded version of the TT-02 Type-S Series with enhanced durability and performance for racing.  This chassis kit uses Items 22049 and 22047 with updated parts.  Also, parts included in this chassis kit were chosen for users who want to learn setup before levelling up to mid-level Tamiya chassis kits.  It is also a more cost-effective than buying each part separately.
