Mugen Seiki Japan have released the first photos and specs for their all new 1/10th 200mm chassis, the MTX-5. Shown in CAD form for the first time at last February’s Toy Fair in Germany, the Robert Pietsch designed car looks close to release, however no date has yet been set.

Spec-R have released a number of new suspension parts including versions for the Xray T3. Made from a new material with extra carbon, they claim the suspension arm is more resistant to breakages and bending. Spec-R have also produced a one piece suspension arm set for the Tamiya M05, which too is made from a new extra carbon material for increased durability while also making the car more stable. The M05 arms are supplied with the pins.

VOX engines have announced the new VOX Dieci T1 Pro engine. The first .12 On Road from VOX, it has already been successfully tested in racing conditions, winning the Coppa Italia with Ciro Borrelli in late June of this year. This 3 port motor features a machined piston, 12mm turbo crankshaft with silicone insert and lightweight cooling head. The engine sees the VOX range of products grow to include 2 classes .21 and .12 and 2 categories on road and off road.
Team Orion introduce their full line of Vortex R-series electric brushless speed controllers. Covering both the needs of the intermediate level and pro racer the swiss company offers 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale controllers for various applications from 1/12 scale up to 1/8 scale. All variants offer offer adjustable drive modes, various software parameters like drag brake, punch and low-voltage cut-off via on-board programming or the optional DSB-R Digital Program Box. Available are 1/10 scale pro and sport variants in the form of the R10Pro, R10S/SC and R10 Sport as well as the R8Pro, R8S and R8.

Arrowmax release a front universal joint set for the Mugen MRX-5 1/8 scale on-road chassis. Machined from spring steel the CVD-style drive shafts are extremely durable and make for a more consistent power supply curing cornering.

CS Electronic introduce their new 1/8 scale brushless controller called Bison-Rocket. Designed for the use with 2S up to 6S LiPo batteries in buggies, truggies, Short Course and monster trucks, the sensorless speedo features different drive modes, adjustable software parameters such as punch control, drag brake and brake strength and comes including a programming card. The controller is also available in combination with a 2200kv truck or 2700kv buggy brushless motor.

Team Durango offer their popular pit mat in two new colours. The mat with dimensions of 620 x 420mm is suitable for both 1/8 and 1/10 scale cars and now available also in red and tungsten colours. Featuring recessed sections to stop items such as tools and parts rolling off your work area it is made from a tough rubber material that gives a hard wearing and easy to clean work surface.
