SpeedMerchant have released this damper tube conversion for the Associated R5.1 In-Line LiPo chassis that lets you run SpeedMerchant Damper Tubes as well as their popular Linear Springs. The kit includes top plate, tweak plate, SpeedMerchant damper tubes, SpeedMerchant linear spring conversion (.18, .20 & .22 Springs) and 2-56 ball studs and nuts. A quick and easy change that will make your R5.1 LiPo easier to drive, quicker in the corners and more consistent lap to lap.

Following intensive testing at some of the biggest events in 1/8 scale, Pirani RC have released its new 8mm gear-shaft develop for Shepherd V8 Eleven. Designed and produced by Andrea Pirani this complete conversion kit increases engine performance in high traction condition. This kit increases the transmission of power from engine to drive wheels and the kit includes new aluminium 7075-T6 side support, new hard-coated steel shaft, new low friction kevlar pulley and new light weight gear box.

DXF Speed 8 1/8th scale LMP bodyshell

iModel in France have announced that French ‘Classic’ chassis manufacturer DXF Racing’s new Speed 8 1/8th scale LMP bodyshell is now available. EFRA homologated (#31520) the shell incorporates some innovated aerodynamics with the front sporting a channeled airway which helps increase front downforce. Suitable for 1/8th gas and electric chassis’.

Edam Esprit 1/10 on-road chassis

Edam got in touch to show us a preview of their new 1/10 scale electric on-road chassis. The car features pivot ball suspension parts as seen on 200mm nitro chassis combined with a three belt drivetrain and a very narrow carbon fibre chassis as normally seen on 190mm touring cars. Depending on the setup and tyre used an overall width of 190 to 220mm is achievable with a wheelbase of 258mm and an overall weight of around 1600g. The car is developed for an “unlimited class” use with 3S 11.1V LiPo batteries and up to 3.5T motors and GTP as well as normal touring car body shells.

Elangears EL-01D multi-chemistry charger

New Korean company Elangears introduce the EL-01D multi-chemistry charger. The single output charger makes use of 11 to 18 VDC and charges up to 6S LiXX, up to 14 cell NiXX and 2 to 20V Pb/Lead batteries with a charging current as high as 7.0A. Incorporated in the matte black and orange case are a yellow-orange backlit LC display, auto-balance system and a menu operation using a singe touch button. Protoform Tornado RallyCross 1/16th body

Protoform have released this bad-to-the-bone ‘Tornado’ RallyCross body for the Traxxas 1/16th VXL chassis. The Tornado body is made to fit the Traxxas chassis perfectly and it can be mounted super low, yet maintain tire clearance. The body mount holes, as well as wing mount holes are clearly marked. This body is made to be used with the inexpensive Traxxas injection molded wing and it comes complete with window masks, decal sheet and protective film.

Hot Bodies have released this set of longer durable steel outdrive cups to fit the front diff or spool on the HB TCX. These new parts allow racers to use the 44mm driveshaft instead of the 46mm driveshaft.

Shepherd V8 low friction kevlar pulleys

Shepherd are happy to introduce their new low friction kevlar pulleys for the Velox V8. After extensive testing a material was found that fullfills their high expectations regarding quality and durability. Oliver Mack drove more than 150 kilometers with one set of kevlar pulleys at the Euros A in Luxembourg when he ended up in 5th position after bumping up three times and the pulleys still looked great. These low friction pulleys provide a better and smoother rotation of the drivetrain to improve the acceleration of the V8 and are available for all pulleys, except for the rear solid axle, as a complete set or separately.
