CSO Xray & Tamiya options

CSO Products have released some new parts for different cars in the Xray range as well as the Tamiya touring chassis. Firstly for the Xray T3 & T2, there is a pair of hard coated steel 52mm swing shafts. These are also available for the Tamiya TRF417 & 416 in 44mm versions. For the RX8 there is a pair of hard coated steel rear wheel axles, which have been lightened and come with wheel nuts for a secure and more true wheel mounting, but can also be used with the standard quick release levers. Finally for the RX8 are some lightened 6mm and 8mm aluminium collars for the middle and gearbox shafts.

Exotek Racing have released 2 new unrelated items, HB TCX QC shock posts and TLR22 front locking wheel bolts. The shock posts precision machined from titanium with a 2mm hex and come with alloy stand offs for reduced flex at the shock towers. The quick change design that is lighter than the stock parts it replaces and a shortened barrel for reduced shock slop allows free movement for proper shock function. Sold in a set of 4. The TLR 22 front locking wheel bolts are again made from machined titanium and feature angled wheel locking serrations to securely tighten down your buggies front wheels. They use a 2mm hex wrench and are sold in pair.

Novarossi 35 Plus & SYDWC motors get updated

Starting from this week, Novarossi’s 35 Plus 21 and the Kangaroo .21 SYDWC engine will come with an upgraded cooling head. The upgraded heads are the same that are used on the previous .21 Flash engines, featuring drilled holes and 6 cuts to reduce the overall weight. Because the cooling head is mounted relatively hight, any reduction in weight for this part significantly helps lower the CofG.

Capricorn LAB C801 & C01 options

Capricorn have released a whole bunch of new options for their LAB C801 and C01 chassis’. First up is rear flex system for the C801 which allows the rear of the car’s radio plate to flex separately from the radio plate mounting bracket giving more overall grip. This can be used with the optional full flex radio plate to give more steering and which was used by Dario Balestri to take 3rd place at last month’s World Championships. Also for the C801, something taken from the C01, is the new front anti-roll bar system that allows you to use a wire in place of the regular blade system. The wire is available in 3 different diameters, 1.3mm, 1.5mm and 1.7mm. For the C01 200mm chassis there is new ultra lightweight spring steel wheel axles that use the traditional nut mounting for the wheel. Also for that car, with some parts fitting the NT1, is a range of plastic parts that have been made in a new white plastic compound for a longer life. The parts include shock caps, ball joints and more.

Exotek F104 bolt-in type servo mounts

Exotek have produced these F104 bolt-in type servo mounts. Six months of track testing have proven that these mounts are the real deal for your F104 or EXO104. Quick position changes or servo removal are achieved via 4 cupped set screws that grab the servo on both sides like a vise without tweaking the chassis or damaging the servo. It works with standard servos or lay down servos, with the latter having the option of quick Ackerman changes.

New from Moore-Speed RC are these TC competition springs.They come in matched pairs to provide ultimate traction in all conditions. Available in soft, medium, hard and extra hard. Already a proven winner at the TITC earlier this year where Andy Moore used the medium and hard versions on his Hot Bodies TCX to take TQ and win all three A Mains. They were also used by Moore-Speed team driver Ayrton Anderson to help him win round 1 of the BRCA Touring car nationals held at West London Raceway this past weekend.

Xray RX8 lightweight solid axle set

This rear solid axle set for the RX8 from Xray includes a lightweight axle shaft, pulley, and hardware. The axle body is manufactured from Hudy Spring Steel and has been strategically machined to make it 25% lighter than the standard rear solid axle shaft. It has been specially hand-ground for maximum precision and smooth operation and additionally heat treated and black coated to ensure long life and maximum performance. The 48T rear composite lightweight axle pulley comes supplied.
