The first photos of the new Mugen MRX-5 have been leaked onto the internet. Nothing unusual to be seen in the photographs, looking just like a production version of the CAD images we brought you back in February. With the car seemingly ready, or at least close to final, we could see the car hitting the market in the next weeks.

DnM Tech have released a new engine mount to fit the Xray NT1. Released in both aluminium and brass, the aluminum matrial is made with aero space quality 7075 alloy and anodized in either blue or purple. The brass engine weighs in at 55 grams, and helps keep the weight distribution as low as possible. In addition, the extra engine mount holes makes it possible to fit in the Mugen MTX4, Kyosho RRR and Shepherd V10.

The Xray spurs are available in 76T & 78T in 48P and 72T to 116T, in 2 tooth increments, in 64P. The CNC Precision pan car ‘diff’ spurs are available in 64dp and also in the most popular sizes. Roche RC’s new ceramic ball bearings are made from pure silicon nitride material that are 60% lighter in weight and 7 times harder than steel. Friction is reduced to near zero, so your car acceleration and top speed will be even better. Both sides of the bearings feature low contact labyrinth type rubber seals which after a few runs you will notice get even smoother when the bearing do a matching groove on the inner seal. Something we covered previously, the carbon wing holder is now on the market and the kit includes 2pcs of carbon wing supports, 3×8 flat head alum screws & 3mm lock nuts with the screws available in gold, green, purple and red.

New from Capricorn for the LAB-C01 are these steel pivot balls. Also suitable for the NT1, these balls have a smaller pivot body that allows the steering angle to be increased on the car by 5 degrees for better cornering. Weighing in a 3.4 grams each, they are available immediately.
