Kyosho have announced the release of a new kit and body combination for their Spada 09, 1/12th scale gas powered chassis. The new combo comes with their all new high downforce RD-12EX, a body shell that improves rear grip and overall handling characteristics.

RT Streamlined Stratus 200mm body

Seen at the Toy fair back in February, the new Streamlined Dodge Stratus 200mm body from Reckward Tuning is now available. EFRA legal (#2023), with the number in the correct spot according to the 2009 rules, the body offers plenty steering and allows you to drive your car quickly, yet smoothly. Supplied with the rear wing, window masks, the decals shown in the picture as well as a protective over spray film.

Tamiya TRF416 carpet chassis plate

Tamiya have announced the upcoming release of a new thicker chassis plate for their TRF416 touring car. Made from 2.5mm thick carbon fibre, it is super stiff and ideal for high grip condition such as carpet racing. The chassis also features Tamiya’s air duct system for cooling the motor. Available at the end of June.

RB in France have released the first information on the new R3 RC touring car engine. This new .12 motor is based on the race winning standard R3 yet sports a number of new upgrades such as the orange anodised long stroke carburettor venturi, a new lightened hand made crankshaft as well as new extreme intake timing and a newly engraved low centre of gravity cooling head.

Suitable for most scales of on road vehicles, electric and gas, it has been made from a single piece of 2mm thick black anodised aluminium. Sporting the Xceed logo laser etched into the top and sides, the feet and top platform feature foam pads for helping to prevent your car and stand from moving around your work bench. A nice added feature is the inclusion of 4 holes in the top surface for sitting your shock absorbers into when refilling them.

Serpent 960 OS2 wheel axle shim

Serpent have released these new 1mm thick spacers that are suitable for the optional OS2 front wheel axles on the Serpent 960’08, allowing easy adjustment of the front offset. Machined from aluminium, the spacers are tapered on the face that presses against the wheel bearing, ensuring that they don’t damage the bearing by rubbing against the outer part of the wheel axle bearing. Sold in a set of 4, they are used in combination with the standard 0.2mm thick wheel axle shims.

Xceed Zytec 1/8th Body shell

Xceed RC, in collaboration with Italian company Sprint RC and former F1 mechanic Pietro Corradini, are pleased to announce this new Zytec 1/8th scale body shell. Tested extensively by World Vice Champion Andrea Cristiani, its design allows for great top speed and good cornering traction thanks to its low and flat front and side wing design. Also incredibly stable at high speed as well as under braking, the new shell sports clearance at the front for the shock tower and upper wishbones as well as having very stiff sides thanks to a special built in shape. Available in 1mm and 0.75mm thick versions, it is on the 2008 list of EFRA homologated body shells (#31501).
