Speed Passion BL Competition 2.5R

Speed Passion BL Competition 2.5R

Powers International have announced that they have started selling the new 2.5R brushless motor from Speed Passion. This competition level touring car motor, has about as few winds as you can get and yet it has a smooth power delivery, while the internals are kept from melting by the built in rotor mounted cooling fan. Combine this with the air vents on the motor casing mean that there is little need for an external fan in normal racing conditions. This motor works with LRP BL speedos, but due to the 2.5R being capable of destroying the ESC, it is recommended to only use this motors with 5 cells.

Serpent Rear wing Inserts

Serpent Rear wing Inserts

Serpent has released this pair of rear wing mount inserts for use with the 1/10th scale Protoform Stratus. Suitable for both the 190mm and 200mm body shells, the lightweight clear plexiglass inserts fit neatly into the wing mount towers and because they are threaded they replace the nuts that come as standard with the body. Once mounted they provide protection from the mounting screw being pulled through the body in the event of a crash. This not only prevents retirements due to the wing coming off but also saves you money, as the wing mounts are no longer destroyed.
