Following on from the release of the lightweight clutch bell housing for the Xray NT1 back in September, KM Racing have now released a similar product for both the Kyosho V-One RRR and Mugen MTX4. Designed to be super lightweight, with the maximum amount of material removed without sacrificing strength, both bell housings has been made from a new hardened steel material for extra durability.

Taiwanese engine manufacturer STS have unveiled more additions to their already extensive range of engines. First up is the new S12XS, 2.1 cc touring car motor that has a 12mm crankshaft with turbo scoop, 5 port tear dropped ABC liner and is supplied with a turbo plug. The S12XS is also available as a 3 port IFMAR legal version. Also for on road is the new 3.5cc S21R motor that has a 14mm balanced crankshaft with turbo scoop, 5 port ABC liner, carburettor with interchangeable venturis and is also supplied with a turbo plug. Finally is the S21T buggy engine which is exactly the same as the on road motor but has a larger cooling head as is normal with off road motors.

KM Racing have released some new tools for on road racers in the form of a new droop gauge and droop blocks. The red anodised blocks (above) have been machined from aluminium, feature the KM Racing logo, and provide an accurate base from which to measure your cars downstop settings. Designed to accompany the blocks, is a new red anodised aluminium droop gauge that can measure between -3mm to +10mm in half mm increments, allowing for very accurate settings.

CS Electronic have released this side wall protection glue for use with both indoor and outdoor foam tires. Simply apply the glue into the pores of the side wall of your tire and it will create a thin flexible protective layer that will help to prevent chunking from hitting kerbs and other drivers. The glue does not affect the tire structure or reduce grip.

The first engine to be released from Spanish company SIIM Racing’s new engine line up, as we announced last week, is the PGR S12T touring car motor. Made for SIIM by Italian company Star Motor Engineering, who make the Sirio motors, this new engine features a 5 port ABC liner and a 12mm crankshaft, with extra work done to the porting to improve fuel flow, while externally it sports a black crankcase and a branded gold cooling head.

Team Titan have announced the release of these 26T, 16T & 18T pulleys for use in the Kyosho Evolva 05/M3, Mugen MRX-4X and Motonica-P8.0R. Made from hard coated aluminium, they weigh the same as the original plastic pulleys but provide 3 times the durability and have a better resistance to dirt build up, which means you don’t need to clean them after running.

We have been contacted by SIIM Racing in Spain to announce the upcoming release of their new engine range called SIIM PGR. The Spanish brand will release 3 engine types, a SIIM PGR S12T for 1/10th touring, a SIIM PGR S21P for 1/8th on road and finally a SIIM PGR S21B for 1/8th buggy. These new engines have been tested for a long period of time to ensure the performance and quality are up to today’s high standards needed to rise the top at international races. Manufactured in Italy in collaboration with a prestigious engine builder, the SIIM PGR engine family will establish a new reference in the international market. Continuing on with the release of hop up parts for the Xray NT1, comes yet another part from KM Racing. This 2-speed gearbox shaft is a direct replacement for the stock version and has been made from a solid piece of lightweight, yet very strong, titanium which helps the overall weight of the car as well as helping reduce rotating mass.
