RC Maker HRP Body Mounts Pro

New from RC Maker is this new ultra Lightweight Body Mounting System for use with their Horizontal Rear Body Posts.  Their original HRP Lite system was a huge success with thousands of racers opting to mount their bodies with the system.  After months of feedback from drivers around the world as well as our team drivers consisting of the likes of Marc Rheinard, Yannic Prumper, Akio Sobue and Nicholas Lee, RC Maker set out to further improve on what was already a great product.  Weighing just 6.5g/pair, the new HRP Pro is based around a US Grade 7075 Aluminium mount.  With built in threads, incredible durability and minimal weight, they have also added locating pins which allows the HRP Pro do be adjusted in 1mm increments, and also stops it moving if the screws happen to come loose. On top of this, it also helps you to get them even left to right.  They have also designed the carbon bracket to accommodate these locating pins, and also added more material around the body mount hole for improved durability. Opting for “1mm Play” this means the holes are now oval with a small amount of vertical play to allow the car to flex and move under the body over curbs and bumps.

MIBO Aluminium Adjustable Servo Horn

MIBO has added these super rigid 25T aluminium adjustable servo horns, a logical addition to its growing product offering given their already extensive range of servos.  This reliable and universal servo horn is for everyone who wants to use their servo to the max and achieve quick and precise steering on any off-road, on-road, or drift machine.  Thanks to the clamp-lock for servo spline fitting and rigid design, this servo horn transfers the servo movement to the steering mechanism without any backlash or flex. In addition, thanks to the easy wide-range length adjustment, it allows for steering response tuning.  Whether you need to shorten the lever ratio in order to get a maximum servo travel and precise control, or lengthen it for maximum possible speed, you can do it in few seconds.  Just loosen the ball end, move it in the groove and tighten it back. Thanks to the embedded self-locking nut, you don’t need to worry about it ever going loose.

Awesomatix has released details of its latest 1:10 Electric Touring Car offering, the new A800R. The first feature of the new car is it compact shorter lower deck with an all new shape.  The new shape of the lower deck allows the car to dive and roll more without excessive rubbing on the track. Combined with the new carbon lower arms the wheelbase remains same as previous kits.  New dampers have an even lower centre of gravity and provide independent adjustment of the damping level and the suspension spring rate with 2 build-in modes for progressive damping and for linear damping.  Smoother operation at low-speed damping and improved characteristics at high-speed damping are the key improvements of our new dampers.  The added ball bearing in the damper-suspension linkage provides noticeable reduction of the adverse initial friction during the suspension operation.
