Serpent SPP support disk for Centax 3

Serpent SPP support disk for Centax 3

Serpent have announced the release of this new SPP aluminium clutch shoe support disk for the Centax-III clutch system. This lightweight part has a larger diameter than the standard support disk and therefore removes all possibility of the clutch flyweights getting stuck behind the disk and causing the clutch system to stop working or from even coming out of the clutch completely.

M Mod parts for MBX5 and MTX4

M Mod Wishbone mount

We have shown you lots of parts from M Mod before, as well as All Mod, and today we have more parts to show you, this time only for Mugen. The first up, which you can see above is a rear lower wishbone pivot point for the MTX4 that has been made out of the trademark grey anodised aluminium and adds to the strength required around this area in the event of an impact. Also available from M Mod, for the MBX5 and the MBX5-T, is a part that combines the upper servo saver mount and the upper rear side front suspension pivot point in one part which adds greatly to the strength and stiffness of this entire area.

Electric powered Serpent 1/8th scale

Brushless Serpent Vector NT

This news piece is just for a bit of fun as i appreciate when people make things like this due to the work, and in this case the craftsmanship, involved in such a project. This particular project is from a guy called Rene (Serum), that judging by the other conversions he has made, knows a thing or two about making a long term project like this. As far as i know the car hasnt been driven yet but what he has done is custom make a new radio plate, motor mount, battery mount and gearbox shaft and single speed assembly and stick in a brushless system. It should be pretty wicked to see when finished.

You can check out more pictures of this project here, or see some of his other amazing pieces of work here.
