Voting for new ROAR President open

ROAR (Remotely Operated Auto Racers), the sanctioning body for RC racing in North America, has opened voting for the election of a new President along with even numbered Region Directors. With current President Chuck Kleinhagen stepping down this year, two candidates, Clayton Young and David Larry, are in the running to lead the organisation. Voting, via the ROAR website, is open to current members with voting closing at midnight on November 30th. It is widely recognised that ROAR is in need of change to better serve the sport in what is one of the largest and most important RC racing markets in the World.

Exotek V2 Pro wheelie bar

Exotek Racing has released Version 2 of their popular Pro wheelie bar sets for the DR10M and Team Associated’s B6.4 B6.3 series with a version for TLR’s 22 5.0 on the way. The extra long 3mm thick carbon fibre wheelie bar can extend to 14.5″ long. The set includes heavy duty machined titanium turnbuckle that controls the height and angle of the bar and a new heavy duty alloy mounting base. The wheelie bar is now hinged for easier height adjustments and allows for the use of a single optional shock (coming soon) in place of the turnbuckle to create a ‘suspension’ bar. A new updated double bearing alloy wheel holds in the new wider and stronger foam tire. The new caged mounting plate protects the tire and wheel and insures straight line performance.

Iconic turnbuckle manufacturer Lunsford Racing closes

It is an iconic brand and one that featured prominently during many A-Main driver introductions over the years, but Lunsford Racing is closing its business with founder Kelly Lunsford retiring. The American company was famed for their Grade 5 titanium turnbuckles that features on the cars of many of the greatest drivers in the sport. Having run news of their many top quality titanium products over the years we would like to wish Kelly and Barb all the best in their retirement.

MST New generation RMX 2.5 RTR

RC Drift specialist manufacturer MST has unveiled the upcoming release of its new generation RMX 2.5RTR 1:10 RWD drift car. The entry-level professional drift car features a new configuration and optimised settings to give enhanced performance and make for easier operation. With the car coming already set-up and ready to drift out of the box, it will be offered in both a brushed and brushless motor option with MST to announce more specific details shortly.

T-Works Tyre Warmer Hard Case

Adding to its range of storage solutions, T-works’ latest hard case offering is configured to house the RSTW PRO tyre warmers from SkyRC as wells as the G0350 Professional V3 tyre warmer from Geforce. Measuring 27cm by 21cm and 9cm deep, externally the case features a carbon look outer shell with the T-Works logo, red accented high quality zipper and black rubber carrying handle. After the big success of the previous model launched during this year they have just launch of another body engineered for the Felony 1:7 scale chassis made by Arrma RC. Made with 1.5mm thick high quality polycarbonate Lexan, the body makes reference to one of the most iconic supercar of the USA motorsport history and will give your Felony with a supercar look. The body is supplied complete with lexan wing + plastic supports and the hardware (screw, nuts and large plastic washers) to fix properly these parts.
