FX G501 Engine follow-up teaser

Having teased the G501 engines last week, FX Engines have released the complete feature list for this GT class specific .21 engine. RC Maker MTC2 weights, shim plates & steering brace

RC Maker have released a range of their ‘weight shift’ adjustable chassis weights for the Mugen MTC2. Made from brass, they come in various formats, shapes and weights, including 15g, 16.5g, 20g and 25g versions and allow you to add weight to the front or rear of the car while machined slots allow for fine tuning of their position for more precise adjustment. They have also developed new 2mm roll centre shim plates so that you can run those higher roll centres as well as a new steering brace for greater durability and steering response.

Xtreme Aerodynamics She-Rock 1/10 FWD body

Xtreme Aerodynamics have introduced a new 1/10 FWD class body shell, named the She-Rock. Because of the limited power and the understeer nature of this category, deep CFD analysis have been carried out to maximise corner speed and aero efficiency. Every section has been studied to optimise the global flow, bonnet shape, front spoiler, side skirt and roof details are examples. Extensive testing showed a smooth handling, fast transition and optimal aero balance on mid corner resulting in overall performance improvement and consistency.

FX Engines tease new G501 motor

More teasers from FX Engines, this time for the G501. Again we have little to no further information to go on, the name would suggest a 5 port engine, while the G could mean that it is specific to the GT class. We will know more soon enough.

Awesomatix A800MMX/MMXA 2mm alloy chassis

New from Awesomatix for the A800MMX/MMXA is this 2.0mm 7075 T6 alloy chassis. Featuring a narrower shape in the rear for less chassis rub, the holes for the ‘short’ suspension arms have been removed. Only suitable for C04M1-LA suspension arms, the battery position has also been shifted to the front to achieve a better overall weight distribution. This part replaces the C01B-X-MMA alloy chassis.

Arrowmax V2 gear differential set

Arrowmax’s V2 gear differential set is designed as a direct replacement set for the previous version. Stronger and lighter by 10g than the previous version, the material of the main shaft has been reinforced and is now made in spring steel max carbon to ensure great durability and consistency over a long period of time. It makes the car easier to drive and is suitable for all track conditions. The gear differential set is made to fit on the majority of the 1/10 F1 cars and 1/12 pan cars on the market.

Bittydesign Hyper-HR 1/10 190mm TC body shell

Bittydesign have released the new Hyper-HR 1/10 190mm touring car body shell. This project came about following the desire to further develop the first Hyper body by creating a new model similar in appearance but totally redesigned to meet the needs of this ultra-competitive category. The Hyper-HR body represents the best result of performance and aesthetics into the same product, a great mix with modern and aggressive look. The design inspired by a real 4 doors car, as requested by the international federations, has been adapted to the meet the homologation specs. The refinement phase took several months to optimise every detail, the attention to detail was obsessive in order to made a body that could best enhance the aerodynamic study that the project requested. Fast rotation and better stability, starting with their previous Hyper model, it was completely redesigned to improve cornering.
