Serpent SRX8 GTE 1/8 4wd EP RTR

Serpent now offers the SRX8 GTE in a Ready To Race package, to make this car even more attractive to a broader customer base. Featuring top-quality components throughout such 4wd with cardan shafts, compact & durable gear-diffs, aluminium motor mount, super low longitudinal battery boxes, compact speedo-servo mount, unique angled steering system, 16mm big bore shocks, ball raced anti-roll bars FR and RR, aluminium shock towers, durable suspension and transmission parts and captured suspension pins. The package is completed with pre painted body shell and 2.4 GHz transmitter, waterproof electronic speed controller with small footprint, which fits the SRX8 GTE like a glove and a strong 1900KV brushless motor with lots of torque. Only parts required are the LiPo batteries, charger and transmitter batteries.

Rêve D R-tune PC rear spring

Rêve D have introduced their new R-tune PC rear spring. This multi-winding type PC rear spring excels in relatively low-grip road surfaces such as P tiles and coloured concrete. Utilising the amazing ‘SWO’ material that has been proven in the previously released R-tune series giving a strong kicking feeling even at higher spring rates and controlled performance. They continue to use the popular 2-way structure that enables you to flip the top and bottom of the spring, allowing you to instantly adjust it according to the road surface conditions and driving skills. There are 3 types in the line-up (medium, medium hard & hard) and they are available separately or as a full set in its own dedicated box.

Infinity IF14-2 FWD balancing bumper weight

For the Infinity IF14-2 FWD, Creation Model have introduced this balancing weight for the front bumper with a weight of 45grams. For use on asphalt surfaces in low grip conditions or when you want to increase weight over the front axle and increase driving stability. Can be added to the kit’s standard 85 grams for a total of 130 grams and the weight also includes special new foam bumper to fit this additional weight.

Awesomatix A12 short steering blocks & alloy block post

Awesomatix have introduced three new front end options for their A12 1/12th scale. The first two are optional steering blocks, standard axle position and a trailing version, with both being 1.4mm shorter in overall height, which provides additional 0,7mm space for droop/ride height settings. The final new item is an 5deg alloy steering block post which is 2,3g lighter each compared to the standard steel versions. Also steering block tubes are no longer needed when using these axles.

Exotek B6.3 heavy duty 7075 alloy diff case

From Exotek comes this heavy duty machined 7075 alloy differential case for the B6.3 & B6.2. Perfect machined roundness makes for a free spinning transmission and a must have for high powered drag racing applications and extra internal machining allows for extra fluid to be added for increased fluid capacity and life. This is much stronger than the stock plastic diff gear but not indestructible so it is important to use black or white grease on the gears and reapply frequently to prolong its life.

Xray tease updated RX8 for 2022

Xray have released this teaser image of their upcoming RX8 refresh for 2022. As you can see in the image the front shock tower has been deleted, like in the company’s X4, and in this case is now mounted directly to the front bulkhead. It remains to be seen if this has also been done to the rear. More details as we get them.
