MonacoRC have introduced their new black shim kit for the new Xray T4’21. This kit replaces the plastic and aluminium coloured shims supplied with the new 2021 T4 kit with these black aluminium shims. Supplied in a handy plastic box, the kit includes 3 x 0.5mm, 20 x 1.0mm and 16 x 2.0mm shims.

Gruber Racing, brand of former European Champion Toni Gruber, have expanded their Scorpion fuel range to include a new 16% blend and a 25% blend specifically for offroad, joining their previously released 16%+ green line. The 16% Boost is part of their new red line and offers a very consistent performance for setting the engine as well as generating more overall power. The 25% offroad fuel is part of the green line and is specially developed for offroad engines. Having revealed a lot of the new for 2021 T4 in videos in recent weeks, Xray have finally released the complete details of their new touring car. With only some small updates instead of a major redesign, the new car is available in a choice of graphite, flex aluminium or solid aluminium chassis. The new chassis has been designed for the new motor mount, new T-brace and new RF suspension holders. The top deck is also new with a narrower front section that improves steering characteristics and forward traction and has a revised rear profile for improved motor clearance for spec class motors. The all-new motor mount is machined as a single piece for increased strength and features new integrated tensioner to precisely set the rear belt tension. A new T-brace is included for improved central flex characteristics and for additional control. New bulkheads with improved rear arm clearance when using the high roll centre positions are supplied as are the new RF suspension holders with centering pins for more accurate and consistent rear toe-in setting. In the transmission, steel outdrives are used for the solid axle for improved durability and the 52mm ECS drive shafts are also included for increased stability and cornering speed.

Schumacher have released their latest competition racing design innovation, the mass damper set. The mass damper will reduce the effect small bumps have on the car and changing the mass and oil used will alter the amount of damping. The tuned mass damper will move out of phase with the vibrations caused by bumps which helps to keep the tyres in contact with the track, offering improved traction and lap times. This also helps with improved curb riding capability. Can be used on any car where space allows it to be fixed to the chassis. Use either the 23g or 12g mass depending on track conditions and use the shims to alter the preload on the springs.
Yeah Racing have produced this chassis stiffening set for the Tamiya TC-01. The set reduces the chassis flex from the plastic tub and comes in two pieces so you can fine tune the flex characteristics. Available in two versions, one with both carbon braces (above) and one version with only the front brace, they both include the necessary fastener to complete the installation.
The 750E Natrix is the latest electric version of the 750 from Serpent. With the technology development in electric racing over recent years that has led to massive power, especially in the popular dragster class in the US, the power going through the transmission is extreme. The 750E is designed to take care of that power and put it down as effectively as possible. Based on the ultra-successful 750 gas racer it shares it’s suspension, shocks and quite a lot of other features like the chassis plate and driveshafts. A new battery plate for the double LiPo packs and an updated top deck for the electronics are the most visible differences between it and the nitro powered version, with the other main changes are the motor mount and pinion/spur gear assembly.
