Tamiya TA07 MSX chassis kit

Coming soon from Tamiya, the TA07 MSX chassis kit is their latest single belt 4wd 1/10th scale chassis. An evolution of the TA07 MS, the car features a new 2.25mm thick carbon fibre chassis and 2.0mm thick aluminium chassis to help dial it in to various track conditions. Using a vertically mounted 2.0mm thick upper deck, it creates improved roll characteristics while ensuring pitching rigidity. In addition, two motor positions with different traction characteristics can be selected and as with the TRF420 the suspension mounts use inserts for fine adjustment. The front and rear pulleys are the same as the TRF420 as are the SSBB dampers and to that end there is new 3mm thick carbon fibre shock towers front and rear.

Rebellion RC X20 Crossflex aluminium chassis

The new Rebellion-RC Crossflex aluminium chassis for the Serpent X20 touring car is here. The chassis was developed for use in medium to high-bite traction conditions with its highly machined design allowing for optimised flex characteristics that can be greatly influenced with the use of up to ten optional brass inserts that not only add weight in the lowest area of the chassis, but they can also be used to change the overall torsional flex characteristics. The sidelines of the chassis have a front to rear 30° chamfered edge for better sliding behaviour when the chassis touches the ground and the cutouts for the Diff/Spool also have chamfered edges to get more space between the rotary parts and the chassis. The chassis is machined from high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium, it comes black anodised for wear and looks, features a laser-engraved Rebellion-RC logo and it weighs in at 84g alone and up to 130g using the optional brass inserts.

Capricorn P10 SR 1/10th 4wd EP pan car

Yet more new products from Capricorn with the release of their P10 SR 1/10th scale 4wd EP pan car, which we showed renderings of back in August. The car will run a 200mm standard width with 45mm wide rear tyres and 30mm front and is designed to accept a shorty pack or standard square style battery with the ability to run up to 3S. While the rear of the car is fixed and with a straight axle there is little to adjust, up front the flex can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the nuts on the front lower carbon plate for a different feeling if needed.

Exotek Racing Slash carbon drag options

Exotek Racing have gone big into the growing drag scene and today have released some goodies for the 2wd Slash and Bandit. First up is this extra long adjustable carbon fibre wheelie bar, which extends from 9.5″ to 12.5″ (axle to axle) to match NPRC race class rules. The longer bar gives you more stability, for straighter and faster passes without needing to let off the throttle as often. You are able to finely adjust the wheel height via the 4mm turnbuckle or make large adjustments by adding spacers under the wheel. Made from heavy duty 3mm carbon fibre with alloy turnbuckles and mounts it includes a ball raced machined alloy wheel with oversized rubber o-ring tire. For the Slash, and also suitable for oval body mounting, is a heavy duty carbon fibre and alloy base body mount set. Extending the body mount back by 28mm and out of the rear windows of most street eliminator cars, the rigid carbon fibre construction ensures less body bounce and flex. Finally there is the new low profile, low ride height heavy duty 4mm thick carbon fibre front shock tower for 2wd Slash street eliminator cars. The lowered tower allows you to mount the body lower and when using Traxxas 4tec shocks it further lowers the front ride height.
