LCG Racing SFX motor mount carbon brace

LCG Racing offer this new carbon brace for their Yokomo BD10 and the Xray T4 2020 SFX conversion kits that helps to further stiffen the motor mount longitudinally. The carbon brace makes the motor mount more rigid and also doubles up as a battery stopper with increased area. Additionally by minimising flex the longitudinal stiffness helps with corner speed and give the car a more direct response. The lightweight brace is made of high quality carbon fibre, features the engraved SFX logo and comes in either the SFXY Yokomo or SFXX Xray version.

MiBorg Sakura D5S rear RCV driveshafts

Coming from MiBorg and made for the 3Racing Sakura D5S drift chassis are these new rear RCV driveshafts. Utilising the design of full-scale cars the driveshafts use steel balls instead of cross pins to drive the wheel axle, which results in less vibration even at high steering angles. This leads to a more predictable handling, higher corner speeds and less tyre wear. In addition the wheel axles allow the use of standard thickness bearings while lighter, pin-less wheel hex adapters reduce overall weight.

T-Works TC-01 spur gear adaptor & suspension balls

T-Works continue to release new parts for the Tamiya TC-01 with the new parts focussed on shedding weight where possible. First up is the spur gear adaptor, which has been made from hard coated 7075 T6 aluminium, the new material along with the minimal design, help to bring the weight down from 7.1g to 2.1g. Next up is the new suspension balls, again from the same material, the weight saving is 4 grams (8 pieces) over the standard parts. Finally the 24 piece ball end set, again made from hard coated high quality aluminium, helps in reducing the weight from 27.5g to just 7.3g, which when you combine it with the other two new items gives you a total weight saving of nearly 30grams.

Rebellion RC MMX body distance system

Similar to the body distance system released yesterday by RebellionRC yesterday, this new version is specific to the Awesomatix MMX. Incorporated into new steering arms, its adjustable design makes it possible to fine-tune the mounting height of the body. Because the body no longer moves up and down with the chassis you can position the body lower than ever before, which in turn improves aerodynamics. For a perfect fit on the knuckle they have used special tools to provide the highest precision, playfree and still easy to disassemble without tons of force.

Rêve D MC-1 conversion kit

Rêve D have announced the upcoming release of their new MC-1 conversion kit for the YD-2. The car that won the R.C.D.C. All Japan E-Drift Championship as a prototype is finally ready. Rêve D main designer Hayato Matsuzaki, together with the development team and team drivers all worked together to further refine the kit and after almost a year it’s ready. 2.5mm thick carbon material is used for the main chassis, upper deck & vertical deck to optimise pitch & roll rigidity. The aluminium gear case, which has succeeded in reducing the weight to the utmost while maintaining rigidity, has been designed so that the gear differential unit can be easily attached and detached, achieving outstanding maintainability. The new motor plate design allows you to select the motor height in 3 steps without removing the spur gear unit, making it easy to change the settings. The MC-1 conversion will be available in 2 versions, the slide rack spec or the bell crank (wiper) spec.

RC Maker T4’20 carbon hub extension plates

RC Maker have developed some beefed up extension plates for the Xray T4’20 alu steering hubs. They have also integrated an M3 pressed insert which completely does away with the nut on top of the arm. There’s specific versions for front and rear to maximise strength in each position whilst ensuring required clearance from hubs/wheels. Compared to stock the new plates are thicker at 3mm and have the inner link position removed, while the new profile of the arm has increased strength and flex.
