Xtreme Aerodynamics nitro tool kit

Coming from Xtreme Aerodynamics is a complete tool kit that includes several nitro-specific wrenches. Parts of the package are standard hex wrenches in 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm and 3.0mm sizes as well as 2.0mm and 2.5mm ball hex wrenches while a 5.0mm hex wrench, specially designed for the nuts of pivot ball suspensions, rounds out the hex wrench package. Also included are a long blade slotted screwdriver for carburettor adjustment as well as a clutch adjustment tool. The tool kit is available separately or including a suitable zipped bag that ensures secure transportation and storage of the precious goods.

Hong Nor X3GTS 30th Anniversary Edition nitro GT kit

Coming from Hong Nor is the X3GTS 30th Anniversary Edition 1/8th scale nitro GT kit. Issued to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hong Nor, the competition on-road car features newly designed front and rear aluminium gearbox bulkheads for easier access to to the front and rear differentials while included optionals such as the #X3S-36 aluminium centre diff brace, the #X3GT-16 3.5mm C/F diff set, the #X3GT-27 handle set as well as the #436 flywheel and clutch shoe set improve easy of maintenance, looks and performance. The car comes as chassis only kit and it will hit stores soon.

H2 Racing Development XQ1 series carbon fibre chassis

H2 Racing Development have announced the soon release of their limited edition Xpress XQ1 series carbon fibre chassis. Machined from highest quality 2.5mm carbon fibre the chassis is thicker than the stock chassis while being of a narrowed overall width, ensuring optimised flex characteristics while countering tweak issues that can occur due to the XQ1’s unique 1-piece front and rear bulkheads. The chassis also supports the use of shorty-style LiPo batteries with a front and a centre position being accessible. The chassis will be usable for the XQ1 and XQ1S kit and pre-order is available now.

Racing Experience 25% Hot Road GT fuel

Racing Experience from France have introduced their new Hot Road GT fuel especially developed for 1/8th GT racing. A new blend allows to extract maximum performance from the highly stressed GT engines that have to work under closed body work and thus under high ambient temperatures. The 25 percent nitro fuel also excels in nitro off-road racing, allowing to reach a higher performance for longer.

Smokem X20 MYD 2.0mm carbon fibre top deck

Smokem Racing have introduced their new MYD top deck for the Serpent X20 mid-motor touring car. Machined from 2.0mm high-quality carbon fibre the top deck is of an asymmetrical design that features a narrow 9mm front section which was found to deliver balanced flex characteristics despite the asymmetric design. The results are improved traction, increased in-corner steering and corner speed. The design also ensures the top deck will never make contact with the motor as the chassis flexes, with clearance for large-pinioned spec class gearing and it can also be easily removed, making spur gear and belt changes a breeze.

Exotek FGX rear aluminium hub set

New from Exotek and made for the 3Racing FGX formula car are precision-machined and laser-engraved 7075 aluminium rear hubs. The raised hub design improves the roll centre, that is +1mm higher with the Exotek hubs, and creates better CVD clearance from the lower arm. The hubs come anodised black and silver chamfered to match the factory looks and they fit the FGX Evo and original FGX.

UK Intellect distributor Schumacher has introduced the 2020 Platinum LiPo range. Recognisable by the new labelling with metallic blue lettering the 2020 versions once again improve of 2019 specs by offering better power and runtime. Intellect offer a huge range of batteries for all applications and required weights for perfect chassis balance and centre of gravity with every battery having a burst current of 120C and LIHV technology. The new packs are BRCA/EFRA legal as of April 1st 2020 with the stick range including the following specifications: 2S 10000mAh 25.1mm, 2S 8400mAh 25.1mm, 2S 7600mAh 25.1mm, 2S 7000mAh 22.5mm, 2S 6000mAh 22.5mm, and 2S 5600mAh 19.5mm. Usukani PDS series carbon fibre optionals

Coming from Usukani and made for their PDS series RWD drift car kits are several new option parts. First up is a stand-up front shock tower kit that offers multiple upper shock and inner camber link mounting positions. The shock stay os machined from high-quality carbon fibre and it includes all needed mounting hardware. Also new and usable with the PDS drift car kits is a transverse battery mount that allows for a wide range of weight bias adjustments. Included come machined carbon fibre battery locators, steel clips as well as mounting hardware. Last but not least comes a rear speed controller mount for the PDSL and PDSH kits. Machined from high-quality carbon fibre the mounting plate includes all needed hardware.
