Hong Nor X3GT & X3GTS alloy gearbox conversion kit

Hong Nor have introduced their new gearbox conversion set for the X3GT and X3GTS kits. The machined aluminium open-style front and rear gearboxes will increase the suspension support, make for improved stability during high-speed cornering and better maintenance due to faster differential access undoing just four screws per gearbox. Included in the kit are CNC-machined bulkheads, diff holders, suspension mounts as well as carbon fibre shock towers. The set is rounded out by an array of mounting hardware.

Exotek Slash 2WD slipper eliminator hubs

Coming from Exotek and made for the Traxxas Slash 2WD truck are two new slipper eliminator hubs. The heavy duty yet lightweight slipper eliminator spur gear mounting hub for all 1/10 Traxxas 2WD Slash and Bandit buggies and trucks weighs in at only 2.7g to 3g, deleting the slipper components, and cutting out about 10g go rotational mass, allowing for quicker spool up and greater gearing selection for speed runs and dragster set ups. The mount is available in two variants; for the use with Kimbrough on road spurs, Exotek Flite spurs or similar on road spurs that have a 6-bolt pattern and inner hole diameter of 9.5mm with the second variant being designed for original Slash 2WD spur gears. Both hubs come machined from high-quality aluminium and they come blue anodised and laser-engraved.

H2 Racing Development Advance 20M shock towers

H2 Racing Development have announced the soon release of their updated front and rear shock towers for the 3Racing Sakura Advance 20M touring car. The updated design makes the carbon fiber shock stays more durable while lowering the overall centre of gravity and offering a little bit more twist in the centre area. In addition the rear tower features mounting holes for rear body supports. The shock towers are also usable with the Advance 2K18 Evo and they should become available shortly.

Serpent X20FF FWD touring car – Coming soon

Serpent have announced the soon release of their all-new X20FF front-wheel drive touring car. The kit will be based off of the X20 4WD car, sharing many of its design features. Full details of the car, that utilises the now-popular front-mid motor layout for an overall lower centre of gravity, will become available in time of the release.

ARC R12 mid-motor touring car – Coming soon

ARC have released a first drivetrain teaser image of their forthcoming new R12 mid-motor 1/10th scale 4WD touring car. The R12 will feature a completely new design of the belt pulleys, differential and bulkheads, with the motor mount being an all-new single-piece construction to reinforce the centre part of the chassis and help reduce belt skipping. The redesigned bulkheads will relocate the anti-roll bar to a lower position with all of these features helping to lower the overall centre of gravity of the car. Full details will become available in time of the release.

STRC roll out new Limitless/Infraction alloy optionals

ST Racing Concepts have announced the release of new aluminium option parts for the Arrma Limitless and Infraction speed run vehicles. First up is a CNC-machined aluminium one-piece HD front upper steering post brace and chassis brace mount that greatly improves the rigidity over the front steering and that provides a stronger mounting point for the centre chassis brace. Combined with the rear CNC machined aluminium centre brace mount, the overall rigidity of the chassis of the Limitless and Infraction vehicles increases greatly. Also new is the CNC machined aluminium centre diff mount that replaces the stock plastic piece and improves the alignment and precision of the centre transmission area. The parts are available in anodised red, gun metal, and silver.

Xray GTX8 & GTXE aluminium shock plates

Xray have announced the release of their new aluminium shock plates for the GTX8 and GTX8 1/8th scale GT cars. The machined 7075-T6 aluminium extensions can be used on both the front and rear lower suspension arms. They allow to mount the shock absorbers in a more outside position which helps to increase corner speed while improving the stability of the car. The black anodised and laser-engraved plates come as pairs and including mounting hardware.

Ielasi Tuned introduce more Evo engines

Ielasi Tuned have announced three new Evo series engines that round out the recently introduced all-new silver colour Evo line of engines. The Raptor.12Evo 2.1cc on.road, Hummer.21Evo 3.5cc off-road and Raptor.21 5Evo GT engine all are developed by former IFMAR World Champion, Daniele Ielasi and they feature small internal modifications to the crankcases, the DLC-treated crankshafts and piston sleeves in order to extract the maximum performance from the power plants. The engines use ceramic rear bearings to further up the performance and increase mileage and they are available from now on.
