7075.it A800MMX LCG battery weight

Coming from 7075.it and made for the Awesomatix A800MMX is a 47g LCG battery weight. Only 1.1mm thick in total the weight fits snuggly into the machined slots of the original MMX chassis and also 7075.it’s own optional flex main plate, ensuring a very low overall centre of gravity while adding weight when needed. The battery weight comes in handy when running the latest generation of lightweight LCG or ULCG battery packs and due to its interlocking design, it doesn’t come loose during a run while allowing the chassis to flex freely at the same time.

Reedy Sonic 540-M4 competition brushless motor

Available now from Reedy is their new Sonic 540-M4 competition brushless motor. Internally, the 540-M4 is very similar to that of the 540-M3 that it replaces – it produces the same linear powerband and excellent mid-range feel that have become synonymous with Reedy’s modified motors. However, changes can be good when they serve a purpose. In the case of the 540-M4, the inner bearing has been moved so that it is part of the can instead of the sensor assembly, which more precisely aligns the rotor within the magnetic field while reducing noise and vibration. Externally, the motor has been shortened, which results in more centralised weight distribution within the chassis. The reduced 50.3mm length, combined with improvements to the can design, results in a 5g to 10g reduction in weight. A balanced, high-strength rotor provides powerful fade-free performance. A variety of optional rotors are available to fine-tune for specific applications and tracks. Precision stainless steel ball bearings have been fitted to reliably accommodate high RPM loads. Several versions, including .0T “even” and a 1/12th scale 1S variant, are available and all meet ROAR, EFRA, and IFMAR specifications.

JConcepts Cheetah 83mm speed-run wheel

JConcepts have announced their new Cheetah 83mm speed-run wheel for vehicles such as the Traxxas Slash 4×4, Stampede 4×4, and Rustler 4×4, as well as the Arrma Infraction and Limitless. Originally developed alongside the Speed Fang belted tires, the Cheetah wheel can also be used with just about any speed-run or 83mm bead mounting diameter tire on the market. When uncovering the Cheetah wheels, it’s important to choose the application type of the vehicle. Using the included hardware, either a 12mm or 17mm bolt-on adaptor can be chosen, depending on the vehicle at task. The wrenching effort will pay off once all screws are attached and the wheel is assembled. Speed-run vehicles are unique, and with the JConcepts wheels, the driver can choose the spoke look of standard or spice it up with the included dish covers. The dish cover options bolt to the wheel from the inside out, giving a legendary salt flat look of full-scale speedsters. JConcepts wheels are manufactured using advanced techniques to ensure trueness and durability and are branded with the small JC logo for brand identification and authenticity. The Cheetahs are available in 4-piece packs and in white and black colors to match any existing paint scheme or show vehicle.

7075.it introduce new A800 optionals

7075.it have announced the release of new optional parts for the Awesomatix A800 series of touring cars. First up is a brass shorty battery holder set for the A800MMXA kit. Designed for the use with LCG or standard height packs the kit only fits the Awesomatix C01B-X-MMA mid-motor alloy chassis as well as the 7075.it flex version 7075-AWX-MMW and 7075-AWX-MM main plates and it is usable with the original Awesomatix battery hold downs or 7075.it’s new tape system battery holder. The design of the battery locators allows the chassis to flex freely while moving the weight as close to the chassis plate as possible for an overall lower centre of gravity. In addition the mounting holes are raised by 0.5mm to not disturb chassis flex. The battery holder set is recommended especially for high-bite surfaces like ETS or CRC black carpet.
