WellRC Racing WellCut lower cut line tool

The WellRC Racing WellCut on-road lower cut line tool makes quick work of marking accurate lower cut lines on the front and sides of on-road body shells. The 3-D-printed tool uses a standard, but not included Sharpie marker and positions in 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, and 9mm heights are clearly identified at the top of the gauge. To use the tool, insert the marker, select the desired height setting and run the marker along the lower cutting line of the mounted body. The cut line is now clearly marked and allows for the most accurate cutting.

Infinity IF14-2 touring car – Coming soon

Creation Model have released first images of the forthcoming new Infinity IF14-2 touring car kit. The new platform still uses a traditional “rear motor” layout, however the layshaft and spur gear have been moved towards the centre of the chassis which creates a new drivetrain layout that in theory should make for more balanced forward traction under acceleration due to the rear belt being longer and the front belt being shorter compared to traditional rear motor/rear spur gear cars. With the motor still in the rear, the electronics can be spaced much closer together compared to a mid-motor car which makes for a more centralised weight balance as the speed controller does not hang towards the rear as it is the case with most mid-motor cars. Full details on specifications and features will become available in time of the release so for now there is “only” a handful of pretty decent preview images.

RC-Cox T4’20 carbon fibre bumper brace

PPM RC Racing have introduced the RC-Cox carbon fibre bumper brace for the Xray T4 2020 touring car. Machined from quality carbon fibre the brace sits atop the upper bumper plate and will touch the front bulkhead in the event of a crash, limiting the bumper’s movement and thus preventing the chassis from getting damaged. Included with the brace comes a pair of shims that make the brace float at the correct height.

Rêve D introduce new SPM titanium screw line

Rêve D from Japan have introduced their new line of super precision machine cut SPM titanium screws. The titanium fasteners are cut from high-quality material for a low weight and exceptional stability and durability and they are available in several variants including 2-piece servo screw sets, 2-piece motor mount screw kits, a 2-piece wing mount set, as well as 4-piece M2x5mm cap and M4x8mm set screw kits. The servo mount screws allow for secure servo mounting as the 4.3mm diameter flange fits snuggly into most servo case lugs, ensuring the servo will not move under load. The 7mm long motor mount screws allow to fasten the motor without using additional shims as they offer a 7mm head section for improved reliability of the whole assembly. The wing mount screws offer a 7.8mm head diameter and they are of a low-profile design, making them ideal for touring and drift car body shells. The M2x5mm cap head screws are usable for most clamp-type wheel hexes, adding bling when the tyres are off while reducing unsprung weight. Last but not least come the M4x8mm set screws that are usable as droop screws in many applications, reducing unsprung weight and adding corrosion resistance.

Yeah Racing MST RMX2.0 carbon fibre upgrade set

Yeah Racing have announced the release of their new carbon fibre upgrade set for the MST RMX2.0 drift car. The set replaces all of the original plastic parts with matte finish carbon fibre items that optimise the chassis’ flex characteristics while adding visual impact. Cutouts in specific areas further fine-tune the overall flex which leads to improved grip during cornering. Included in the set are the lower main chassis, the split top deck, front and rear shock towers as well as mounting hardware.
