MR33 steel under battery weights

Coming from Marc Rheinard’s MR33 brand are several new under battery weights that help to fine-tune the weight balance of 1/10th touring and off-road cars. The range includes a 28g 0.6mm weight for standard-length LiPos, a 20g 0.6mm shorty weight, as well as 50g 1.0mm, 75g 1.5mm and 100g 2.0mm weights for Yokomo’s YZ-2 range of off-road buggies. The latter three are available separately or in a convenient 3-piece set. Using the weights will help to optimise the chassis weight balance when using lightweight or low-profile batteries or when added weight is beneficial, such as running in high-bite or very bumpy track conditions. All weights are of a dark colour and they come laser-engraved for easy identification.

Yeah Racing 5-spoke M-class rims

Yeah Racing have introduced their new 5-spoke rims for M-class touring cars such as the ones of Tamiya and Xpress. Of a realistic design the rims are moulded using a hard plastic compound which helps to extract more performance and grip from a tyre. The rims are usable with most M-class rubber tyres, they fit all M-class touring cars with 12mm hex wheel adapters and are available as 4-piece packs in black or white colour.

Sweep EXP-24S Pro Compound low temperature tyres

Coming soon from Sweep are their new EXP-24S touring car rubber tyres for the use in low “winter” temperatures. Making use of the EXP-R2 carcass, the new 24S compound excels especially in low ambient and track temperatures and despite being on the very soft side, it provides consistent performance without a drop in performance toward the end of a run. The tyres come in sets of four, premounted on white dish wheels and including inserts.

Yeah Racing M08 aluminium chassis brace mount

Yeah Racing have introduced their new chassis brace mount for the Tamiya M08 M-chassis kit. Machined from aluminium the tubes will reinforce the chassis assembly, allowing to extract more performance from the tyres and car. The braces come as pair and are available in blue or black anodising.

RC Maker GeoCarbon TC wing support set

RC Maker have introduced their new GeoCarbon wing mounting solution for touring cars. Developed for serious racers, it is designed to protect the wing, and wing strut in crashes, as well as provide maximum downforce and efficiency from the wing. The “L” shaped design can be switched to left and right to fit different bodies and wing positions, and offers rearward and outer wing chord support. Flexing of the wing in high speed straights and corners can lead to unpredictable handling. This is due to the wing folding back, but also, when the wing folds back the sides of the wing lift up to even further increase the detrimental impact. Our side facing supports minimise this lifting, which also in turn minimises flexing of the wing backwards. This creates an overall more stable wing in every direction! Also included is an adjustable carbon fibre support for under the bodyshell. This clamps the wing and body between two pieces of carbon, providing more support and stiffness. It can be shifted forward or backwards to suit different bodies and wing positions. The set is complete with two lightweight alloy screws and two lightweight alloy nuts to provide a lightweight, stable solution to mounting the wing.

BMT 016 GT Evo 1/8th nitro GT kit

BMT from Italy have introduced their new 016 GT Evo 1/8th scale nitro GT chassis kit. The car is based on the proven 016 GT and features refinements such as a new flex chassis, the Evo rear end conversion that as previously only available separately, it come with new short big bore shock absorbers as well as new shock stays and a redesigned front bulkhead brace. The parts will improve the car’s overall balance and performance and the kit is available from now on.

Sunpadow CS Platin 6000mAh Stock class LiPo pack

Sunpadow have introduced their all-new Competition Stock CS Platin series high-performance LiPo battery packs. Developed especially for stock class racing, the first in the line is a 6000mAh 7.4V battery that is made using newly developed highest-quality cells whose chemistry will reduce the overall weight of the battery while allowing for exceptional performance thanks to a very low internal resistance. At 282g the battery is about four percent lighter than the gold label pack and it measures 139x47x25.1mm.

VBC Racing Lightning10X235 235mm Pro10 kit

VBC Racing have introduced their new Lightning10X235 235mm Pro10 pan car chassis kit. The latest evolution of the popular Lightning10 platform received updates in the front suspension and chassis area while several upgrades ensure improved durability. The front end is equipped with an industry-first fully adjustable 7075-T6 Active Lower Caster system for optimised steering response while the 7075-T6 aluminium main chassis and rear lower pod plate with machined silver edge details increased handling precision. A heat-treated, hardened rear axle shaft ensures true running and exceptional durability even when using high powered modified motors. Other features include the possibility to run bellcrank or direct steering setups, inline or transverse battery positions, wheelbase and track width adjustments as well as a wide range of tube damper, side link and side spring position adjustments to fine-tune the car’s behaviour. The kit is shipping now and should hit stores very soon.
