Zero Tribe T4 Mid aluminium chassis conversion kit

Zero Tribe have announced the soon release of their popular Xray T4 Mid chassis conversion kit in a limited edition aluminium chassis variant. Based on the proven carbon fibre kit the alloy set will include a newly developed medium flex aluminium main chassis as well as a narrow-type 2.0mm carbon fibre upper deck. The conversion is best used in high to very high-bite track conditions and it is usable with the 2017 to 2019 variants of the Xray T4 touring car. The alloy chassis will also become available separately for those who already own the carbon fibre kit.

Exotek FGX Shimizu tyre adapter rings

Coming from Exotek are their new Shimizu tyre adapter rings for the 3Racing FGX foam tyre wheel sets. The all CNC-machined delrin adaptor rings allow mounting of Shimizu F104 and Tamiya TCS F104 tyres onto the FGX foam wheels. The must have for carpet and cool weather racing allows the use of softer high grip compounds on the FGX. The rings are simply glued into place on the wheels and thereafter allows perfectly true mounting of the Shimizu F104 tyres onto the wheels. The adaptor set includes four rings, usable on the front of the rear rims with two sets being needed to outfit a complete set of wheels.

MTS T3 mid-motor conversion kit

Coming soon from MTS is a mid-motor conversion kit for their T3 electric touring car. The set includes a new lower chassis plate, multi-piece motor and layshaft mount, a C-shaped centre bar to adjust chassis stiffness and included is also a reversible upper deck that allows to fine-tune the stiffness of the front or rear end of the car by flipping it around, swapping between a split and solid setting. In addition the torsional flex of the top deck is adjustable using included carbon fibre plates that help to reinforce the top plate. The set is rounded out by a new spur gear mount, front and and rear belts as well as carbon fibre battery locators.

Shepherd Velox V8.2 carbon chassis aero kit

Shepherd have announced the release of their new carbon aero kit for the chassis of their popular Velox V8.2 1/8th nitro on-road kit. The set was developed to reduce turbulences under the car, with the slicker surface making for higher top speeds. Two inserts are included in the set, a small one which is fixed with one centre screw and a longer one for the front chassis cut-out which is fixed using two screws that also allow to fine-tune the flex characteristic of the front end. The German-made carbon design set is available from now on.

Machined from high-quality titanium and using highest quality self-lubricating bushing material, the conrods will greatly increase the engine performance while offering exceptional durability of all parts involved, including the conrod itself and the connection pin. The conrods will become available from mid-November in two variants for almost all .21 Novarossi and almost all .21 O.S. Engines.

Tamiya XB Tyrell P34 1976 Japan GP rolling chassis kit

Coming soon from Tamiya is the Expert Built series XB Tyrell P34 1976 Japan GP 6-wheeler formula car, a pre-built and pre-painted rolling chassis kit. The vehicle resembles one of the most iconic Formula 1 cars in history with the XB series allowing drivers to enter the track a lot faster compared to a traditional kit as the car comes factory-assembled and painted, ready for your own choice of steering servo, controller and battery to be added. Six grippy foam tyres ensure great traction in most track conditions with the pre-decorated body making the car standing out. The F103 based rolling chassis will become available by the end of November.

CS Electronic Rocket V5.1 220A brushless ESC

CS Electronic from Germany have introduced their new Rocket V5.1 220A speed controller for 1/10th scale applications. Developed especially for competitive on-road and off-road racing, the V5.1 offers very smooth throttle control, reliability, performance and lots of safety features. New FETs allow for up to 220A of peak current while the new, smaller case improving heat dissipation while taking less space in crowded chassis environments. The new V5.4.1 firmware ensures best possible throttle and brake control and it offers both modified and blinky stock racing modes. Other features include 3rd-channel compatibility with certain Sanwa and Futaba transmitters and the controller is usable with both sensored and sensorless motors.
