PHUB have introduced their all-new Hyper Grip tyre compound especially developed for large scale on-road racing. Improving grip and tyre life the tyre sauce will be applied ten minutes before warming and left on for a warming period of about 30 minutes. The results are improved lap times and consistency. The traction compound comes in 100ml bottles and it is available now.

Developed with the forthcoming IFMAR 1/8th GT World Championships in mind is Ielasi Tuned’s new Raptor.21 5GT WC nitro on-road engine. Specially designed for shaft-driven classes, the power plant features a new crankcase design, a DLC-coated crankshaft as well as an aluminium carburettor, a customised low-profile cooling head and also a ceramic main bearing. The engine comes hand-tuned by Daniele Ielasi for best possible overall performance.

Building on the IFMAR World and multi-time National Championship winning IGT8 platform comes the IGT8E 2019 electric GT kit. New features include an updated front shock tower made of carbon fibre that provides improved steering and increased corner speed while the rear tower design stayed the same as with the 2017 version, however an optional shock tower and extension combo is available if more rear traction is required. New for 2019 is also a super lightweight aluminium rear bulkhead that provides better gear support and heat dissipation. It utilises 5x16x5 bearings for reliability while the bevel gear received an additional E-clip for security and easier maintenance. The centre of the chassis houses a new low-profile battery mount that lowers the battery pack by 10mm while offering a super low weight and a sliding-design motor mount ensures quick and easy, yet reliable gear mesh adjustment. The rear differential utilises a machined aluminium case for smooth differential action, stiffer satellite gear support and heat dissipation. Also part of the 2019 package is a laydown steering servo mount radio tray whose design allows to add a 40mm fan unit for motor cooling purposes. On the suspension side of things the 2019 variant comes with updated FF and RR brackets with the front mount allowing for zero degree of suspension pin inclination while the rear mount reduced the toe by half a degree.
Coming from JConcepts is the 1966 Chevy C10 step-side body shell for street eliminator body shell. Designed of 1/10th SCT trucks using drag racing tyres and Street Eliminator narrow suspension chassis setups, the body resembles the iconic Chevy C10 truck. It has character and style, lower stance was emphasized by an attractive, pinched-waist body featuring “jet pod” eyebrows over the grille. Sizeable front chin-spoiler, large front hood-scoop, high-operation 60’s style cab with rear flange for authentic looks. The rear of the truck has a step-side style bed and the entire design is multi-faceted. The rear fenders have built-in clearance for a large assortment of drag racing rear tyres including the JConcepts #3194 Hotties rear SCT tyre. The body shell also has the identifiable flat rear tailgate area and built-in connection points for the oversized rear wing option. The truck can be used with or without the rear roll-bar option and “ultra” rear wing setup. Many pieces make up the Chevy C10 and can be tailored to the customer needs or focal point of the build. The body measures a 13” wheelbase and the inside dimensions of the body are 11.75” front and 12.00” rear width. The body is built for a 2WD SCT wheelbase length and fits standard SCT width chassis layouts and suspension using drag racing tyres and wheels. Included with the truck comes the multi-piece Ultra rear wing as well as window masks and a decal sheet.
JConcepts have introduced their new Bronze medium thickness lubricant for bearings and other applications. After considerable testing, the RM2 Bronze oil is the stand-out lubricant in the pits of 2-time IFMAR World Champion, Ryan Maifield. When it comes to a simple touch up to oil bearings, CVA’s or any surface that needs a little friction reduction, apply a liberal amount of the oil to coat the area for a fresh life. A simple bottle and packaging make for easy access and quick transport to and from the races.

Coming from Hupo Hönigl’s own H-Speed brand are new high-quality shock and differential fluids. Supplied in leak-free 75ml bottles the competition-grade oils are available as 200cSt to 800cSt shock and 1,000cSt to 50,000cSt differential fluids, allowing to fine-tune the suspension and drivetrain of most cars, buggies and trucks out there.
RC Atomic have announced the soon release of their new BZ3 1/28th scale 4WD touring car kit. The vehicle features new front arms and knuckles for increased straight line stability while allowing for zero to twelve degree of caster. The single crank steering arm incorporates a servo saver and new rear suspension hangers ensure a perfectly aligned geometry. The new rear UTS Upper T-arm System increases rear suspension rigidity, thus improving stability of the rear wheel traction. Other new features include an ultra low centre of gravity chassis design, new ball diffs, ball cups, bulkheads, shock towers and a low centre of gravity motor mount. With the new design the diffs sit about 1.5mm lower with the motor and servo also being lowered compared to the previous model. The rear suspension can be built as camber link system for low to medium grip carpet, as upper T-arm system for RCP or EVA tracks and also as ARS active rear-toe system for expert users. Coming from Vortex Racing are three Ultimate ultra light-weight screw kits for the ARC R11 2019, Destiny RX-10SR and Xray T4’19 touring cars. The kits contain of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium screw for the upper parts of the chassis as well as titanium fasteners for the bottom area, ensuring an exceptional weight reduction and stability compared to the standard steel screws. Also included are double secured aluminium M4 wheel nuts as well as aluminium M3 lock nuts if required by the vehicle. Both the ARC and Destiny-related kits include black-anodised aluminium hardware while the Xray-specific set includes orange anodised alloy screws. All three screw sets come in reusable boxes that can be used for storing small parts, electronics or spares.
