West Coast R/C Works have announced the release of their new 30mm fan shroud “front”. The specially designed touring car shroud allows to mount a cooling fan in front of the speed controller with the shroud directing the air over the speed controller towards the motor, allowing to scrap the ESC can for less weight and power consumption. The design is usable for both modified and stock indoor racing and it is usable with standard 30mm fan units.
Coming from Awesomatix and made for all A800 series cars is an updated aluminium centre pulley. Designed to be even more reliable and precise, the new AT120X pulley is machined from high-quality aluminium and it comes hard-anodised for wear and looks. The pulley is available as AT120XB including ball bearings as well as AT120X without bearings and it was designed to fit all A800, A800X and A800X Evo cars.
VBC Racing have announced the soon release of their Ghost18 Edition A touting car, an upgraded version of the popular Ghost18. The Edition A now comes with the upgraded 7075 aluminium main chassis and full carbon upper deck for improved handling. It also comes with full 7075 aluminium parts, full carbon graphite parts and racing quality parts. This car is ideal for club, GT races, and vintage racing with other features include full ball bearings, front and rear stabilisers and a sliding racing steering system.

Following a first teaser image Protoform have officially unveiled their all new Chevrolet Corvette C7 Pro-Mod body shell for drag car converted Traxxas Slash 2WD trucks. Protoform has a long heritage in RC Drag Racing. In fact, the first body the brand ever released back in 1992 was a Stealth Funny Car, so PF are getting back to their roots by introducing the company’s first-ever body dedicated to the fast-growing SC Drag Racing class: the Chevrolet Corvette C7 Pro-Mod. This body will transform the Traxxas Slash 2WD into a scale 1/4-mile beast with a ton of realistic details to give the SC drag car a super unique, race-inspired look. The C7 Pro-Mod is a convenient 1-piece body design with no assembly necessary. Protoform recommend using Pro-Line’s Hoosier 2.2” Drag Racing front tyres on the front and Hoosier Drag Slick SC 2.2”/3.0” Drag Racing tyres in the rear combined with a set of Pro-Line’s Pomona Drag Spec wheels for the ultimate scale hot-rod stance. To create a more scale look, the body is designed with a narrower track width than a traditional SC body and will require some modifications to the 2WD Slash in order to fit correctly.
Kyosho have announced the soon release of new carbon fibre option parts for the Fazer Mk2 FZ02/02L entry-level touring car. The range includes a carbon fibre front bumper support as well as front and rear carbon fibre shock towers. The front bumper support will improve overall stiffness and chassis protection while the rigid shock towers ensure greater suspension efficiency. All parts are cut from high-quality carbon fibre and they include the necessary mounting hardware.
Coming in September is GForce’s new 2600mAh Drift Special ACG LiPo battery pack. Offering ultra-short 69×46.5×24.5mm dimensions the battery pack allows to adjust the weight bias of drift cars in a very wide range as the battery can be shifted forth and back a lot more than a traditional shorty battery pack. The battery is built from high-quality 60C/110C cells and it utilises 4mm battery connectors.

Coming from Hupo Hönigl’s H-Speed brand are the new Blue Stripe spec tyres for 1/12th scale LMP and GT cars. Made using durable A38 rubber the pre-trued tyres offer exceptional traction in a large variety of track conditions, making them the ideal hand-out tyres for club and sanctioned racing. The blue stripe allows for easy identification while the white flex rim assists with traction and durability. The Arena 1/12 League legal tyres are available separately for the front and the rear.
Shepherd have announced the release of their new 0.8 module spur gears for the Velox V8.2 1/8th on-road kit. They feature a completely re-designed shape for maximum stability and true running while keeping the weight in the same range as the previous gears. The spur gears are available in 60T, 61T and 62T variants for the 1st gear while the 2nd gear is available as 56T, 57T and 58T variants. Furthermore the new spur gears will be included in all future batches of the V8.2 car kits.
