Bezerk T4’19 2017 height shock towers

Coming from Bezerk and made for the Xray T4’19 are new, taller shock towers that match the 2017 shock geometry. Made from 3.0mm glossy carbon fibre, these towers allow to mount longer shocks from the 2017 specification car to the 2019 model which can be beneficial in bumpier or very low grip track conditions. The geometry replicates the 2017 towers and the two are available as a set from now on.

Exotek TRF103 HD motor plate set

Exotek have announced the release of their new heavy duty motor plate set for the popular Tamiya TRF103 formula car. The reinforced design greatly improves the rear pod durability of the car which is prone to bending or tweaking from rear impacts. The plates, machined from high quality 7075 alloy, match the stock geometry and provide threaded holes for mounting of an optional cooling fan on the left plate by using optional M2.5 screws. The set includes a left and a right hand side plate.

MSE MRX6R lower aluminium shock mount

Mugen Seiki Europe have announced the release of an aluminium lower shock mount for the MRX6R on-road kit. Made of high-quality 7075 aluminium and coming black anodised for wear and looks, the part was developed to replace the standard carbon fibre item. In the event of a crash, the alloy will just deform instead of break, as the carbon fibre parts can on hard impacts, allowing the driver to still finish the race. The shock mount is made in Germany and it is available separately, fitting the left and right hand side of the car.

RC Maker T4 & BD9 ceramic/ABEC7 bearing sets

RC Maker have introduced their new ceramic and ABEC7 steel ball bearing sets for the Xray T4 and Yokomo BD9 touring cars. Using ceramic ball races for the drivetrain and ABEC7 steel bearings for the hubs gives the best balance of longevity and performance. The ABEC7 bearings have extremely tight tolerances and prevent developing slop and notchiness, ensuring a smooth and efficient drivetrain for a very long time. The T4 and BD9 sets are available from now on.

Merlin McFly carbon fibre rear body support

New from Merlin McFly is a carbon rear body support for 200mm touring car body shells. Made from high quality US carbon this body support increases rear traction and reduces the risk of body tucks in racing mode. Currently available for Capricorn and Serpent 750 cars, the supports are also available custom-made to fit other cars.

Arrowmax Medius mid-motor conversion kits

Arrowmax is the latest company to announce the release of mid-motor conversion kits for the popular Xray T4 and Yokomo BD9 touring cars. The Medius called kits base on 2.25mm US weave carbon or 2.0mm machined aluminium chassis with 2.0mm carbon fibre upper decks and they utilise redesigned single-piece 7075 alloy motor mounts and centre pulleys. Included with the kits also come chassis stiffeners that allows to adjust chassis flex to suit current track conditions or driving styles. Arrowmax promise increased cornering speed, traction and steering in addition to improved ease of driving. The kits are meant to ship by the end of the month.

Infinity IF14 titanium ball end 4.9mm set

Infinity has released a set of high-precision 4.9mm titanium ball ends for their IF14 1/10 electric touring car. Offering an approximate 8g – or 47 percent – weight reduction compared to the kit’s standard steel ball ends, the polished finish of the ball surface ensures smooth movement over long periods of use. Supplied as a kit of 20 pieces, each of the sizes – short, medium and long – are available separately as a pack of four.

Hobbywing XeRun XR10 Pro 1S Heavy Duty ESC

Hobbywing have introduced their new XeRun XR10 Pro 1S Heavy Duty brushless speed controller specially designed for competition 1/12th scale racing. New internals allow for greatly improved heat dissipation even when using low-turn modified motors or when racing in high ambient temperatures while a built-in switch and capacitor module keep wiring as clean as possible while also saving weight. The controller features five pre-set profiles for all sorts of racing conditions, however they can be customised using Hobbywing’s optional WiFi Module and an iOS or Android-based mobile device or a programming box. The internal BEC system with 6V/3A output does away with the need of a separate receiver battery and adjustable throttle and brake PWM frequencies ensure precise throttle and brake control especially in Stock motor classes.
