Muchmore have announced the release of their new Fleta TX V2 ER Spec torque up stock motors. They build on the popular ER Spec motors but come equipped with the MR-FZR21Z 12.5×7.25×24.2mm “Z” rotor for increased torque which comes in handy especially in 1/10th buggy blinky classes. The motor is available in a 13.5T and 17.5T variant for the most popular stock classes.

Coming from Arrowmax is a compact tyre and battery warmer. The device utilises a compact control unit for easy storage and less pit space needed with the warmer cups being of Arrowmax’s signature black and golden design. They connect to the front side of the case, ensuring easy organisation of the wires. The control unit is equipped with an XT60 connector, allowing to power the tyre warmer using a 13.8V power supply or a 3S LiPo battery. Built-in sensors ensure precise temperature control, independently for the front and rear tyres, and the warmer not only is usable as a tyre warmer but also as a battery warmer using an optional warming bag. Pre-set values ensure performance enhancing and very high user safety.

A worlds first, TDK High Grip is an aggressive and tremendously grippy compound that is still safe to use thanks to not containing traditional – and highly hazardous – ingredients such as WD-40, Liquid Wrench, diesel fuel, kerosene, belt conditioner, distilled turpentine, Windex, lighter fluid, ATF, acetone, or rosin. Japanese brand Zero Tribe, known for their front and mid motor conversions for the Xray T4 touring car, are currently developing a mid motor conversion kit for the Yokomo BD9 tourer. In the very early stages of design, the release of the actual kit may take some time but it is nice to see the proactive brand caring for the needs of Yokomo users. Roche have introduced new option parts for their Rapide P12 Evo 1/12th scale and P10 1/10th scale on-road kits. First up is an aluminium servo mount set for 35mm to 37mm micro servos. The set includes new black anodised servo mounts as well as centre shock shims with the mounts being designed for the use with the latest generation of larger size micro servos. The parts are precision-machined from high-quality aluminium, they come black anodised for wear and looks and they are a direct fit. Also new is a low height steering knuckle set for the P12 Evo and P10 kits. The reduced height allows for a wider front suspension setup range while also helping with steering response adjustment. The set includes a left and a right hand side steering knuckle moulded from high-quality composite material.
Coming for the Destiny RX-10FF 1/10th FWD touring car is a cross chassis battery mount set. The kit allows for a floating or O-ring type battery mounting, the latter making for a slightly stiffer chassis setup while the mount also allows for forward and backward battery placement in order to fine-tune the car’s weight bias. Included in the set is all needed mounting hardware.
Coming from Xray and made for their T4 line of touring cars is a fully adjustable shorty LiPo battery holder with weights. The set for shorty LiPo batteries allows to move the batteries front to rear by 4mm but also left to right for easy and comfortable weight transfer adjustment. The design of the battery mount also eliminates any negative chassis flex, making for a more equal left-to-right turning of the car. The included 40g brass weights set the battery in a central position for a perfect weight balance. In general, using a shorty battery with the low profile weights allows to lower the weight of the car which helps to make it easier to drive, more stable in the chicanes but in the same time it improves the rotation of the car. Xray recommended the layout especially for the modified class on carpet or small asphalt tracks.
Coming from BMT and made for their 016GT 1/8th GT kit are new aluminium front and rear pivot balls. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming hard anodised for wear, these super lightweight suspension balls replace the standard steel parts, making for over 66g of weight saving when outfitting the complete car using the alloy balls. A front pivot ball weighs in at 5g while the rear parts weight in at only 2.4g. The pivot balls are available now.
