Xpress Execute XM1S vertical top deck conversion

Coming soon from Xpress is a vertical top deck conversion for the Execute XM1S M-class touring car. The conversion does away with the standard top deck for a construction that allows to adjust lateral flex by adding or removing posts but at the same time the design greatly reduced the car or becoming tweaked in the event of a crash, for more predictable handling in all conditions. In addition the set includes a front belt tensioner that prevents the belt from skipping. The set will hit stores soon.

Exotek introduce new TRF419 & TA07 alloy optionals

Exotek have introduced new aluminium option parts for the Tamiya TRF419 and TA07 touring cars. First up are heavy duty alloy front steering C-hubs in 4 degree specification. The precision-made hubs for Tamiya series touring cars such as the TRF419, TRF418, TA07 and more that are using the new 418 steering knuckles, increase the rigidity over the stock nylon hubs for more consistent handling, especially in higher grip conditions. In addition the parts add durability over the carbon nylon C-hubs and they are still light at 8g for the pair. Also new is the aluminium servo mount for 419 series touring cars. The 1-piece mount offers a solid design for less flex and less tweak after impacts, it weighs in at only 9g and also works with the new Exotek RS7 conversion.

Exotek RS7 chassis conversion for TA07

Exotek have introduced their new RS7 chassis conversion kit for the Tamiya TA07 touring car. The lightweight pro conversion carbon fibre chassis set is of a streamlined design and adds many pro features for the venerable TA07 such as an adjustable battery mount set that allows for easy weight bias adjustments for forward or back battery placement. Adjustable carbon battery cups are extra lightweight and adjustable to match any full-size LiPo hardcase pack and adjustable LiPo tabs securely hold in the battery without the need of tape. The 1-piece 7075 alloy motor mount is 4g lighter than stock and lowers the pulleys by 3mm and the motor by 1mm for an even lower centre of gravity and it comes anodised black for improved heat dissipation. Also included in the package is a 2.25mm carbon fibre lower plate that is narrower than the stock chassis for improved cornering and a 2.0mm carbon fibre 1-piece upper plate makes for reduced tweak. Stainless steering posts round out the conversion kit. The conversion chassis and parts weighs only about 122g which is about 50g lighter than stock.

Blaze Racing CRC 1/12th scale Quad-link conversion

Coming from Blaze Racing is the Quad-link conversion for CRC 1/12th scale pan cars. Taking the read pod design of the larger Pro10 cars, the plug and play conversion uses two addition, smaller, links to replace the typical pivot ball. The construction is bind-free and allows to fine-tune the rear suspension geometry – something less common in 1/12th scale racing. In addition it optimises the rear roll centre for increased rear traction without sacrificing front end grip. The conversion consists of 7075 aluminium components and 3mm carbon parts, steel ball studs and composite links and it is usable on cars such as the CRC CK25.
