Radtec X1 aluminium front body post mount

Coming from Radtec and made for the Xray X1 formula car is an aluminium front body post mount in a two-tone finish. The aluminium plate is machined from high-quality material and features a black and orange finish and allows to swap between different front wing brands without having to change the front body mount position as the post is being attached to the mount and not to the front wing. Included comes suitable mounting hardware.

Xray T4 -0.5mm suspension mounts

Xray have introduced new lowered RF and RR suspension mounts for the T4 series of touring cars. Available as split RF hangers, that also support the ARS system, and as single-piece RR mount, the parts are machined from high-quality aluminium and they make for a 0.5mm lower suspension pin position. The new roll centre setting will create more side-bite in low to medium bite conditions such as “green” asphalt. The all mounts are available separately.

PSM Evo7 carbon fibre shock towers

Coming from PSM and made for the Tamiya Evo7 touring car are front and rear carbon fibre shock towers. Both are cut from 4mm carbon composite material and designed to reinforce the vehicle’s shock area, providing minimum flex characteristics and straight shock alignment for a more linear performance under all conditions. The shock towers are a direct fit and they are available separately for the front and the rear of the car.

T-Works roll out Project 4X Evo option parts

Coming from T-Works and made for Serpent’s new Project 4X Evo 1/10th touring car are a range of new option parts. Available soon are items such as a 12-piece set of 4.5mm 7075-T6 pivot balls that feature a 2mm hex head and a hard-coated surface. Using the items over the standard steel parts will reduce the car’s weight for added performance. Also available are 64 grade titanium and a titanium hybrid turnbuckle sets for looks and a lower weight, as well as 64 grade titanium screw set with UFO heads and a gold-plated steel screw set.

WRC STX 1.5 alloy chassis & brass pivot balls

WRC Racing have announced the soon release of an aluminium main chassis as well as brass pivot balls for the STX 1.5 electric touring car. The chassis is machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it features strategically placed cut-outs for optimised torsional flex characteristics. The main plate comes black anodised and with white laser-etched graphics for wear and looks. Also new are brass suspension pivot balls that help to add weight in the lower areas of the chassis while also reducing suspension friction. The balls come in a natural, polished finish.

Reds Racing M5 GT Corsa Lunga GT engines

Reds Racing have announced the release of their new M5 GT Corsa Lunga nitro engines for 1/8th GT vehicles. The power plant is available in two specifications, as M5 GT and M5 GT Ceramic. Both are long stroke on-road based engines with their new carburettors being designed specifically for on-road racing to ensure high performance and precise tuning. Other features include silicon filled and tuned crankshafts, sleeves with five inlet ports and three exhaust ports, high performance Japanese-made front and Swiss-made rear ball bearings with the Ceramic spec engine utilising a rear Swiss-made ceramic main bearing. Both M5 GT engines come with a Japanese-made Reds Racing TS7 glow plug for easier tuning and high reliability starting from the break-in process.

Answer-RC S35-3 series carbon fibre arm stiffeners

Answer-RC from the UK have introduced front and rear carbon fibre arm stiffeners for the SWorkz S35-3 series of buggies and cars. They are made of thicker 1.5mm carbon fibre and include 6mm screwed rather than 5mm fasteners. They come separately for the front and the rear of the vehicle and fit the S35-3 platforms including the S35-3, S35-3E, S35-3GT and S35-GTE.

Xpress tease Execute XQ1S club-level touring car

Xpress have released a first image of their forthcoming XQ1S club-level touring car kit. The car is based on the full-breed XQ1 competition kit, however several fibreglass parts and other simplifications will make the kit more wallet-friendly for newcomers and club racers. The car is set for a release in April and all information including images should become available soon.
