Infinity IF11 1/10th formula car – First images

During this week’s Thailand International Touring Car Championship held at the Infinity RC Addict track in Bangkok, Creation Model have revealed their forthcoming Infinity IF11 1/10th formula kit. The pan car, that is being raced at the TITC by the team’s Formula development driver Jitse Miedema, is unique in many ways as it features a front monocoque composite chassis to which a short carbon fibre main chassis plate as well as the front suspension and front wing attaches. The result is a realistic looking formula car whose chassis is stiffer that a plain carbon fibre assembly – without the need to use delicate aluminium parts – while still offering good accessibility for the steering servo, receiver and speed controller and along with the rear transversal battery mount with O-ring retainer it also allows for easy battery swaps. The front suspension, that is made up from carbon fibre sheet material, is adjustable using inserts while the rear end utilises class-standard axle height adjustment using shims. The steering assembly is designed in a way to allow the common single bellcrank setup but it can also utilise a dual bellcrank setup if track conditions are calling for it. The car is still in prototype stages but according to Creation Model it is ready for a release before Summer.

Destiny RX-10SR brass weight option parts

Destiny have introduced a new brass centre balance weight as well as brass suspension mounts for the RX-10SR touring car. The centre brass weight weighs in at 35g and it was designed to not only add weight to the most central area of the car but it also acts as a sturdy battery stop. The weight comes in a shiny natural finish and with laser-etched markings. Also new are a total of five suspension mounts in the form of 1-piece A, B, and C suspension hangers along split A and B mounts. All are machined from heavy brass material to strategically add weight in the front or rear area of the car in order to achieve the minimum weight or to fine-tune the overall weight balance. Speedmerchant New School reactive frontend kit

Coming from Speedmerchant is the New School reactive frontend kit tailored to high traction black carpet racing. The kit comes with the new 3-D-printed suspension blocks that the team have been testing for the past season with great results. The revised suspension geometry shines on the high traction black carpet found throughout the U.S. and the kits include everything needed to replace the upper arms on Speedmerchant’s regular New School suspension. This way, drivers have both complete set-ups, and can swap out the solid to the new reactive upper arms in no time at all. The conversion works on both 12th and World GT-R cars as the overall feel is a little less touchy, easier to drive on centre, less tippy, and more steering in the middle/out of a turn. The team guys still prefer to run the stock New School suspension on their RoadKills, because of its more aggressive nature and the way it attacks a corner. The standard New School is also a little better on the less tacky grey Ozite floor.
