Gstyle Grand Slam II electric brushless motor

Gstyle from Japan have introduced their new Grand Slam II 540-class electric brushless motor. Developed with power increased and better drivability in mind the motor will offer up to 15 percent more power compared to its predecessor while offering a smoother and better controllable throttle feeling and also improved braking performance for a more connected feeling between driver and vehicle. A new can design with large vent openings keeps the operation temperatures at bay while heavy duty solder tabs ensure easy and reliable soldering. The motor will become available as 3.5T modified and 21.5T Ver.4 JMRCA variants first with more winding options to come.

Xpress Execute XQ1 steering Ackermann plates

Coming from Xpress and made for the Execute XQ1 and XQ1S touring car are new optional steering Ackermann plates. Machined from high-quality carbon fibre the plates are available in the three different options stock, 1 dot and 2 dot with the latter two reducing the steering Ackermann effect to adjust the steering feeling to different traction levels. The 1 and 2 dot plates come as a complete set and they are best used in high-grip conditions as they provide improved stability on turn-in and during cornering. In addition the standard geometry arms are available in a special option version that provides improved overall rigidity for a sharper steering response. The Ackermann plates require the use of 2mm bumpsteer spacers in order to recreate the standard steering geometry.

CSO T3-01 aluminium gear diff & idler gears

CSO have introduced several aluminium transmission option parts for the Tamiya T3-01 Dancing Rider trike. First up is an alloy gear differential that is made of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium. The planetary diff was developed to replace the standard plastic item and it comes including alloy outdrives, internal diff gears and all parts are hard-coated to extra durability. Also new are a hard-coated aluminium diff joint set including two joint adapters as well as an 30-14T idler and 39-12T spur gear. All are made of aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium.

JConcepts 1991 Ford Mustang body shell – Coming soon

JConcepts have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming 1991 Ford Mustang body shell. Intended for modified Traxxas Slash trucks, such as JConcepts’ Street Eliminator Concept, the body will also fit other vehicles with a 13” wheelbase and about 10.75”/11” overall width. More information will become available in time for the release that is schedule for mid-August. Also coming soon and suitable for the Street Eliminator vehicles are the new Startec wheels and Hotties tyres.

Awesomatix A800X mid motor conversion set

Coming soon from Awesomatix is the limited edition mid motor conversion set for the A800X touring car. The kit will create a symmetrical 4WD drivetrain with equal length front and rear transmission belts that will ensure a more symmetrical drivetrain reaction during acceleration and braking. The conversion kit is usable exclusively on the A800X and it will become available soon in a very limited production run.

Xray 64 pitch pan car gear diff main gears

Coming from Xray and made for their recently introduced 1/10th and 1/12th scale pan car gear differentials are moulded composite 64 pitch spur gears in various sizes. The gears are made from a high-quality composite material for high precision, a long life and quiet operation and they are available in 76T, 80T, 84T, 88T and 92T sizes to cover a wide range of available gear ratios.

Scale Dynamics silver drift car wheels

Scale Dynamics from Japan have released first images of their new aluminium silver drift car wheels. The 6-spoke rims are of special design that utilises standard drift car tyres but an additional black-painted ring will enlarge the sidewall height visually to make for a more old school look. An alloy silver surface treatment is giving the wheels a polished look and they will become available soon.

P-One 1/10th touring setup wheels

Coming from P-One are their new setup wheels for 1/10th scale touring cars. The wheels are made of high-quality aluminium and they come black anodised and with white markings for cool looks and easy identification. They also incorporate thin rubber O-rings to ensure the chassis stays in place during suspension geometry checking and adjustment. The wheels come in sets of four and are usable for both electric and nitro kits.
