ProTek Graphene LiHV & lightweight RX battery packs

AMain Hobbies have introduced two new Silicone Graphene LiHV battery packs as well as a lightweight LiPo receiver battery. Starting with the LiHV packs, first up is the 2S 7.6V 100C Silicone Graphene LCG pack with a capacity of 5600mAh. It measures 138.5×46.5×22.5mm, weighs in at 245g and comes in handy in all applications that require a medium capacity and lightweight battery. The hardcore battery utilises 5mm bullet-type power connectors and a standard 2mm balancer tube.

IGT8 GT pinion remover tool

IGT8 have introduced their new pinion remover tool for 1/8th nitro GT cars. Machined from aluminium and coming red anodised the part holds the clutch bell in place while fastening or undoing the 1st and 2nd gear pinions, ensuring easy handling while being gentle to the gears.

SMJ TC wing endplates, body patches & antenna pipes

SMJ have introduced a range of accessories such as pre-cut wing endplates for 1/10th touring car body shells, body mount patches and also flex antenna tubes. Starting with the endplates, they are available pre-painted in black colour or with a mirror finish and due to being pre-cut they help to speed up body preparation. The black endplates come in pairs and are available in standard 0.8mm or lightweight 0.5mm thickness while the mirror-type plates are available exclusively in 0.5mm thickness.

EcoPower Electron 2S 800mAh LiPo receiver battery

AMain have expanded their range of EcoPower Electron LiPo battery packs by several softcase variants. Usable for RC car applications is the 2S 7.4V 800mAh 25C pack with JST connector that will make a lightweight receiver battery in many nitro applications. The pack measures 30×56.5x15mm an weighs in at 47g. An XH balancer port makes for safe recharging. The whole range including the many all-new packs can be found here.

Kyosho America have released first images of the forthcoming Inferno GT2 Race Spec 2018 Dodge Challenge SRT Demon 1/8th RTR GT kit. One of the most powerful full-scale American Muscle cars to date, Kyosho’s Challenger SRT Demon is based on Kyosho’s popular Inferno GT2 Race Spec chassis that features a KE25 big blog nitro engine, 2-speed gearbox, large volume shock absorbers and sturdy suspension components. The car comes factory-assembled, including a 2.4GHz radio system and it will hit stores in February 2018.

0.5mm carbon fibre suspension shims for IF14

Designed specifically for the Infinity IF14 are 0.5mm carbon fibre suspension shims. The parts are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and are designed to increase the track width by 1mm, whilst leaving the driver with maximum toe and roll-centre options and making the car easier to drive in medium and high-grip conditions. The suspension mount shims are simply bolted between the suspension holders of the car and the bulkhead. The shims are sold in sets of four, and they become available at the beginning of 2018 here.

Coming from KO Propo is their new Advantage Capacitor C module for the use with high-performance brushless speed controllers and modified motors. The capacitor module will improve overall motor power and torque especially in the second half of a run when the battery is starting to fade, resulting in better lap times and more consistency. HRC Racing 68113CAR brushless high-performance servo

HRC Distribution have introduced their new HRC Racing 68113CAR high-performance brushless servo. Designed for 1/10th scale cars, the low-profile digital servo features an aluminium middle heatsink section, a short, black 90mm wire as well as a brushless motor, metal gears, double ball bearings and it pulls up to 13kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.07s, making it ideal for both on-road and off-road applications.
