RC Maker long reach touring car ride height gauge

New from RC Maker is a simplified ride height gauge for touring cars with longer platforms. Outdoor racing with carbon chassis can lead to excessive chassis wear in the exact spots which drivers measure the ride height from. The increased 20mm length of the platforms allows the gauge to reach a more inner, unworn part of the chassis. This gives a much more accurate reading on the ride height, noting the difference between measurements can be from 0.2mm – 1mm depending on how worn the chassis is. The gauge of six platforms ranging from 5mm to 6mm in 0.2mm increments suits all racing conditions with fine tunability. It features a lightweight 7075 aluminium construction with black anodising and white laser etched numbers and logo.

Capricorn C803 front differential

Capricorn have introduced a front differential set for their C803 1/8th scale car. Intended for the use in low-grip conditions, using a front differential gives a different on-track feeling and allows for 4-wheel braking while also making the car easier to drive. When used with a 30T front pulley the suggested diameter delta between rear and front wheels is 6mm instead of the usual 7mm, whereas when using a 29T pulley the delta should be brought down to 4.5mm.
