Yokomo have announced the upcoming release of the YR-X12A 1/12th scale pan car with an aluminium chassis. Based on the car that dominated the podium at the recent Japanese modified nationals, with Yokomo ace driver Ebukuro Toto taking the TQ and win, this car also comes with an aluminium lower brace for lowered centre of gravity, which together helps increase cornering speed as well as preventing the car from traction rolling. This new version is aimed specifically at high traction surfaces.

German brand 3DRC has introduced a new rear chassis diffuser for the Xray X1 on road kit. The diffuser that is attached to the power pod side plates, which allows the use of a multitude of wing heights as they will not interfere with the diffuser. The part is 3-D printed from tough yet flexible material and will add scale looks and additional downforce. Available through 3DRC´s Shapeways store or selected hobby shops.

New from Team Speedmind come a number of option parts for the newly released Mugen MTC-1. Starting with the Speed-Light titanium screw set, it consists of 138 pieces of high strength titanium screws including M2 & M2.5 sizes. Next up is the Speed-Ceramic high speed ball bearing set made up of 23 pieces of super low friction ball bearings. Finally there is also a set of Speed-Ceramic high speed ball bearing set for MTC-1 transmission.

Yokomo have introduced this Drift specific brushless servo which has unique design and specification for this class. This high spec brushless servo features full titanium gears and high grade aluminium case and is perfect for RWD drift requirements especially in combination with the Yokomo steering gyro. Super Touring, a new brand from ProjectRC, have released their all new high traction 1/10th onroad rubber racing tire. The tire, which has been produced by one of the large tire brands, claims to offer superior traction levels and long life compared to its competitor. Serpent have introduced a lightweight 2-speed clutch bell for the Cobra GT8 car. Made as an addition to the already existing standard steel and coated aluminium bells this version will work with all of the existing clutch shoe types and materials and it comes with a precision-machined pinion thread, a durable coating and the SPT logo for easy identification.

3DRC have further expanded their range of 190mm touring car rear wings by the new D-type wing. Of a more conventional design the wing sports extra flaps for improved airflow and maximised downforce. Dual mounting holes in standard “Protoform pattern” allow to use the 3-D-printed wing in a front or rearward position. Like all 3DRC parts the wing is available through the brand’s Shapeways store or at select model shops.
