Serpent Project 4X aluminium screw sets

Serpent have introduced two aluminium screw sets for the Project 4X touring car. Containing 143 fasteners, the set is available in orange or grey colour with the screws being made of aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium. Using the screws as a replacement for the standard steel hardware will lower the car’s weight while adding visual impact.

Flashpoint 4-in-1 multi wrench & alloy servo horns

Flashpoint R/C have introduced their new 4-in-1 multi wrench as well as aluminium servo horns for most of today’s servos. Starting on the tool side of things, the multi wrench incorporates a 10mm socket wrench for flywheel nuts, an 8mm extended glow plug wrench as well as 5mm and 3mm hex tips for pivot balls and steering bushings. The wrench is made from high-quality spring steel, making it strong and durable.

Team Powers 6500mAh 7.6V LiHV battery pack

Coming from Team Powers is the new 6500mAh 7.6V LiHV battery pack. Offering standard dimensions and a reduced height of 22.5mm, the low centre of gravity pack is built using of high-quality 110C cells that were made using additional Graphene material which is meant to improve performance and durability. The battery weighs in at 272g and it is usable for Modified and Stock class racing alike.

Gizmo GZ1 2017 update kit & hard lower arms

Coming from Gizmo Racing are the new GZ1 2017 update kit and hard lower A-arms. Starting with the update package, the set will bring older spec GZ1 kits to full 2017 specifications by including the V2 upper arm kit, a new carbon fibre chassis, carbon fibre side rails, new diff/spool outdrives and also new low-friction belts. Also available for the GZ1 are hard carbon fibre lower A-arms. They offer less twist and flex than the standard arms, resulting in a more responsive car at the expend of a little overall grip. The hard arms can be used in combination with the standard wishbones in order to achieve a different car balance.

Tamiya TT-02 Ferrari F12tdf 1/10th on-road kit

Coming soon from Tamiya is the Ferrari F12tdf based on the TT-02 entry-level 4WD chassis kit. Resembling Ferrari’s limited edition F12tdf super sportscar, the kit makes use of the proven shaft-driven TT-02 platform and it comes including a highly detailed body shell, silver multi-spoke rims and semi-slick high-grip tyres. The kit will hit stores by end of May.

Capricorn C803 Evo aluminium main chassis

Italian company Capricorn has introduced the Evo chassis for the C803 1/8th scale car. Made from high-quality aluminium and coming hard anodised the black colour chassis allows to use the new 15g cylindric centre and 16g side weights to optimise weight distribution and adjust the overall weight. The chassis and weights are sold separately.

BK Servo BLS-SS-HS low-profile servo

Coming from BK Servo is the BLS-SS-HS low-profile high-speed servo for 1/10th on-road and off-road applications. Offering a machined all-aluminium case, steel gears and a brushless motor the high-voltage compatible servo pulls up to 18.1kg-cm of torque with a transit time of down to 0.045s and it will become available by mid April.

Kyosho V-One R4sII 1/10th nitro kit – Coming soon

Kyosho have released first preview images of their forthcoming V-One R4sII club-level 1/10th nitro on-road kit. The vehicle will sport some subtle revisions such new 2mm shorter shock absorbers whose updated design and 1mm increased diameter still offers increased volume for improved damping characteristics while the updated shock towers lower the overall centre of gravity for increased corner speeds. Also new is a redesigned receiver box that protects the receiver from spilled fuel. The car is meant to make a first official appearance soon and we bring you more information as soon as we get them.
