ARC R11 2018 electric touring car kit

ARC have introduced the 2018 variant of their popular R11 1/10th 4WD electric touring car kit. The car utilises some subtle changes compared to the previous version, such as a new carbon fibre chassis and topdeck whose high-grade graphite material and refined manufacturing process will ensure maximised flatness and an optimised balance between hardness and flexibility. The kit is prepared for the direct use of the recently introduced SRS super response servo whose integrated mounts will make for a 10g weight saving compared to the standard mount. Also new and possibly the biggest change for the 2018 kit are all-new front and rear suspension mounts that now allow to use inserts to adjust the toe settings while also allowing to fine-tune the track width. A total of nine different settings are accessible while the roll centre adjustment is still carried out using shims to raise or lower the suspension mounts and thus arm pins.

The latter is a carbon fibre centre brace that spans from the servo mount to the motor mount and it allows to access different chassis flex settings while ensuring increased pitch rigidity for better acceleration and less belt jumps.
