Xpress Xpresso M1 M-type RWD chassis kit

Coming from Xpress is the Xpresso M1 M-type 2WD rear wheel drive kit. Sporting “M-Chassis” dimensions the race-oriented kit features a full carbon fibre double deck construction, carbon fibre A-arms, adjustable upper links, a touring car sized rear gear differential and a belt-driven transmission. A centred and front-mounted steering servo makes for massive steering throw and a reactive toe rear suspension system ensures a nimble handling and exceptional traction and side-bite. The car is usable with shorty or standard-size LiPo battery packs that can be mounted in a front or rearward position. The car is compatible with all 210mm M-Chassis bodyshells.

Avid Triad M4 lightweight wheel nuts gold

Coming from Avid are gold-anodised Triad M4 wheel nuts. Being of Avid’s unique Triad 3-corners design they are usable with a standard 7mm wrench and they are anodised with a unique process that makes them reflective to resemble gold plating. Each nut weighs in at 0.3g and a serrated back section allows for secure wheel tightening. The M4 nuts fit all modern 1/10th on-road and off-road vehicles and they come in sets of four.

Arena T4 bumper option parts

Coming from Arena and made for the Xray T4 touring car are several front bumper specific option parts. Available now are a 2.5mm carbon fibre upper bumper plate, a medium hardness foam bumper and also orange anodised aluminium bumper posts, the latter improve the overall stability and durability of the bumper assembly. All parts are direct replacements.

Vampire Racing 6000mAh 80C LiHV battery pack

Vampire Racing have introduced their new 6000mAh 80C LiHV competition battery pack. Made from high-quality high-voltage Lithium-Polymer cells with a constant 80C rating the standard size 2S battery offers a nominal voltage of 7.6V and it weighs in at 305g. The pack utilises 5mm tube-type connectors, Vampire Racing’s new black design stickers, it is both EFRA and BRCA legal and available from now on.

Freedom tease 1/10th 200mm formula pan car

Japanese company Freedom have released a first teaser of their forthcoming Freedom F1 car. Designed for the Japanese 200mm foam tyre class the kit utilises a rigid F103-style Tamiya front end, a single bellcrank steering system with floating servo mount, a highly adjustable battery and shock mounting plate as well as a rear power pod top plate that allows to use single or dual roll dampers. On top of this the car will be usable with inline or transversally mounted shorty packs. We bring you more information on the project as soon as they surface.

Capricorn C-803 F1-style rear swaybar set

Coming from Capricorn is the F1-style rear swaybar set for the C-803 1/8th on-road car. The ball-raced system utilises a 2.3mm centre torsion rod that provides very precise response and the assembly is easy to adjust by using different thickness rods. In addition to the included “soft” 2.3mm come optional “medium” 2.5mm and “hard” 2.7mm versions to fine-tune chassis roll. The set includes all needed hardware and ball bearings and it is a direct fit.

Bruno Coelho TQs & wins at XRS Italy Rd1

The opening round of the XRS Italy was held at the Indoor Racing Chilelli track in Castelnuovo Scrivia. A high traction asphalt surface made for some entertaining racing in the five classes of Touring Modified, Touring 13.5T Pro, Touring 13.5T Stock, Formula and Pan Car. The entries were sold out within hours and in the premier Touring Modified class it was Bruno Coelho (Xray) who took the TQ and win from Xray’s own Martin Hudy and Alessio Menicucci (Xray).
