Kawada F500 wide chassis conversion kit

Kawada have announced the soon release of the wide chassis conversion kit for the F500 formula car. Usable with the foam-spec WS and rubber-spec NS kits, the wide chassis conversion makes the use of several battery positions possible, including a front and rear longitudinal and a rear transversal shorty battery placement. On top of this the wider main chassis and redesigned lower pod plate allow for three different side link configurations including a wide, narrow and an angled setup. The set includes the 2.5mm carbon fibre main chassis and lower pod plates, two rear upper damper plates as well as miscellaneous small parts.

Axon X10 precision ball bearings

Japanese company Axon have introduced their new X10 ball bearings. The ball races are built using highly precise parts including optimised-size balls to make for the highest possible efficiency. A special coating reduced heat build-up which is further helped by the used of a special bearing oil that greatly reduces drag. The bearings are available in many popular sizes including two 8x4mm and 8x5mm flanged offerings and they come in sets of two.

T-Works Project 4X titanium ball end set

T-Works have introduced a set of 64-grade titanium ball ends for the Serpent Project 4X touring car. They are made using high-quality material with the 14-piece kit replacing the standard steel ball ends for lighter and cooling looking parts. The ball ends incorporate an upper hex portion for easy installing and removal and they are available now.

Mon-Tech pre-cut Nazda2 & IS200 bodyshells

Coming from Mon-Tech Racing are pre-cut and pre-drilled Nazda2 and IS200 190mm touring car bodyshells. They are available as both carpet and asphalt variant and they are available for a range of chassis such as the ones from Xray, Yokomo, Schumacher and Awesomatix and they greatly reduce the preparation time while also allowing for a pro finish. They are also painter-friendly as they are not fully cut out, retaining the inner wheel arch and and door sill portions that are easy to remove after painting by cutting a couple of connections.

CRC double clamping left 1/12th hub & red hardware

CRC have introduced a new double clamping left wheel hub for Xti-based 1/12th scale cars as well as red anodised hardware. Starting with the wheel hub, its design makes it both lightweight and balanced, something that is crucial for a proper handling 1/12th scale car. Machined from aluminium and coming red anodised the part fits all Xti-based CRC 1/12th scale cars and it will also fit any 1/12th pan car with the proper spacing on the left side bulkhead.

Nuclear introduce new Ulti tyres with lightweight rim

Japanese company Nuclear, new mother brand of the popular Ulti brand tyres, have announced that updated lightweight rims will be used for all 2017-series 1/8th scale Ulti tyres. The white colour rims are meant to offer improved durability compared to other lightweight wheels, resulting in better crash resistance and also vastly increased performance. The 2017-series tyre will become available by end of November.
