Fenix 12th gear diff, X1 Ti front axles & 17.5T motor

Coming from Fenix Racing are several new parts such as a gear differential for 1/12th scale pan cars, a set of titanium front axles for the Xray X1 and a 17.5T brushless stock motor. Starting with the gear differential, the unit is based on Fenix’s poplar 1/10th gear diff and it features a Grade 5 titanium axle, ABEC 5 class 1/4×3/8×1/8 ball bearings and it utilises a 84T 64 pitch main gear. The prototype already showed some great performance with a 3rd place in the highly competitive 10.5T class at the recent Masters of Foam race in the hands of Jaques Libar.

Infinity release new 1/8th option parts

Infinity have introduced new optional parts for their 1/8th nitro on-road car. First up is a 5mm chassis conversion kit that will improve the car’s handling and traction on low-grip tracks. While being 1mm thinner than the kit chassis the 5mm variant also offers a 1mm longer wheelbase and it comes including all needed parts such as a new side belt, an updated carbon belt tensioner and mounting hardware.

Xray X12’17 aluminium chassis & lower pod plate

Available now from Xray are an aluminium main chassis and lower pod plate for the X12’17 1/12th scale pan car. Specifically designed for the 2017 variant the chassis and lower pod plate increase torsional stiffness for better car control and improved performance on high-bite surfaces. The parts are machined from high-quality 2.0mm 7075 aluminium, they come black anodised and are available separately.

RaceOPT Progressive Dynamic touring car springs

RaceOPT have announced the release of their new Progressive Dynamic high response touring car springs. Made from 1.4mm wire and featuring a progressive design the springs improve steering response while offering controlled suspension dive, resulting in optimised side bite and traction. The colour-coded springs are available in the three types of 2.5-2.9, 2.5-3.1 and 2.5-3.3 all of which are available separately.

Team Powers digital coreless low profile servo

Team Powers have introduced their new design coreless low profile aluminium case servo. The servo features a new direct drive gear system that can provide more torque and speed with better efficiency. The titanium gears sport a hard coating that will extend durability and on top of this the servo is usable in a wide voltage range of 4.8V up to 8.4V. The high torque the servo provides makes it ideal for touring car and 4WD buggy applications.

JConcepts blue & black microfibre towels

JConcepts’s recently introduced Dirt Racing Products microfibre towels are also available in a “JC signature” black and blue variant. Perfect for all sorts of cleaning purposes, including tyre and rim prepping prior to glueing, the towels are also good for a range of other duties such as cleaning parts and accessories. The towels measure roughly 30x30cm and they come in sets of one black and one blue towel.

Axon High Big Bore Shock 1/10th touring car dampers

Japanese company Axon have introduced their all-new High Big Bore Shock absorber for 1/10th touring cars. Designed to deliver maximised corner speed the dampers offer an increased volume while maintaining an outer diameter compatible to most of today’s shock springs. A unique shock body design with a tapered upper section near the shock cap also makes for very well balanced progressive damping which further helps to up speeds in corners. The shocks come in sets of four, including 3-hole pistons, and they are available in variants for the Yokomo BD7/DB8, Xray T4 and Tamiya TRF 419X. Not included are the upper and lower ball ends, spring cups and springs with these parts need to be taken from the respective chassis kits.

Hiro Seiko Project 4X & XB4’17 screw kits

Coming from Hiro Seiko are three new screw kits for Serpent’s Project 4X and Xray’s XB4’17 cars. Available for Serpent’s revolutionary touring car are a full titanium and also a mixed titanium and aluminium hex screw kit while Xray’s latest 1/10th 4WD off-road buggy will receive a full titanium treatment. All sets scrub some weight compared to using the standard steel screws with the mixed titanium and aluminium set saving even more valuable weight.
