CSO 1/8th aluminium wheel nuts & hex hubs

CSO have introduced a range of aluminium wheel nuts and hex hubs for 1/8th GT and off-road vehicles. The wheel nuts are of an open and lightweight design, resembling full-scale wheel nuts and they are available in a range of colours including red, orange, blue and gun metal. As for the wheel hex hubs the parts are available in different offsets of 4.5mm up to 8.5mm, in 1mm increments, and they allow to adjust the track width of the car to adapt it to different track conditions. Both the wheel nuts and the hex hubs fit most 1/8th scale vehicles and they come laser-etched for easy identification.

MIP ball diff grease & silicone lube kit

MIP have introduced their ball diff grease and lube kit for the use with the company’s ball differentials as well as pretty much every other ball diff out there. Both lubes are specially formulated for the use on the thrust bearings and also diff ball assembly in order to deliver maximum performance and durability. The amount supplied provides enough lube for many builds and rebuilds with the grease coming in handy snap cap containers.

Fenix SF2 Rattlesnake carbon chassis & steering blocks

Fenix Racing have introduced a carbon fibre chassis for the company’s Serpent SF2 Rattlesnake conversion as well as steering blocks for most formula cars. Starting with the chassis, the included parts are cut from 2.5mm carbon fibre and they fits Fenix’ conversion kit for the SF2 car. Offering more flex the chassis conversion will make for improved traction in lower grip conditions.

Hot Bodies announce new HB Racing name

Hot Bodies have announced the re-naming of their brand to become HB Racing. The change comes after the split from parent brand HPI Racing and goes along several other changes including a new management that is taken care of by Swiss company Neidhart S.A. The HB Racing products will be designed by Torrance Deguzman in California while former IFMAR World Champion, Kent Clausen will take care of all marketing aspects. Another World Champion, Adrien Bertin, was announced as HB Racing’s technical manager. On the racing side of things, IFMAR World Champion, Ty Tessmann and EFRA European Champion, David Ronnefalk will represent HB Racing at major events around the globe with additional driver signings being awaited for the near future.

Team Corally aluminium shock pliers

Team Corally have introduced their new shock pliers for the use with 1/12th, 1/10th and 1/8th scale shock absorbers. Made from aluminium and sporting the popular nutcracker design the tool is designed to securely hold shock shafts of different diameter while screwing the ball end on. The special design will not harm the shaft’s surface and it also allows for easy fastening and undoing of upper and lower shock caps while a third feature helps with popping the ball cup’s pivot ball in and out with ease.

Framega YR-10 aluminium lower pod plate

Coming from Framega and made for the Yokomo YR-10 is the aluminium lower pod plate. Cut from 7075-T6 material and designed in cooperation with Fenix the plate complements the already introduced aluminium chassis with both parts being best used together in order to make for an overall stiffer chassis assembly which can be beneficial especially on high-bite surfaces.
