Shepherd Velox V10 "WC" upgrade set

Shepherd have released the new Velox V10 “WC” upgrade parts set which were successfully developed and tested by the company’s top team drivers during the last few months. The upgrade parts were used by the Shepherd team at the recent World Championships in Italy with Simon Kurzbuch taking the second place after the qualifiers and an overall third place in the final. Included in the set are several redesigned parts such as the new front end with a different diff position that gives more overall steering and different position for the servo saver and steering servo while the rear carbon stiffener makes the car easier and more precise to drive. Also include is a new chassis plate, modified front uprights, as well as new gearbox bulkheads and more.

T-Works BD7-2016 progressive damping system ver.2

T-Works have introduced the refined version two of their progressive damping system for the Yokomo BD7-2016. Offering larger diameter pistons and a greatly reduced wall thickness of the alloy inserts the set, in combination with 400 to 600 oil, will make for even better performance especially on technical tracks with high corner speeds. The set includes four alloy inserts and four plain pistons and it is available now.

Arrowmax 1/32 Mini 4WD tool set

Arrowmax have introduced a special tool set for the Tamiya 1/32 Mini 4WD vehicles. The tailor-made set includes all necessary tools, wrenches and gauges to build, maintain and tune Tamiya’s popular Mini 4WDs. Included are tools like a pinion and wheel puller plate, puller extension, wheel piercer, 1.8mm, 1.9mm and 2.0mm hand drill, hex and nut drivers as well as a dedicated tool holder and a setup board. The tool handles sport Arrowmax’ signature honeycomb design and the set is available in black, orange and gun metal colour.

Team C GT8-series aluminium shock mounts

German Team C distributors Absima have introduce the new aluminium lower shock mounts for the GT8-range of 1/8th scale on-road cars. Machined from aluminium and coming orange anodised and including mounting hardware the parts make for an updated suspension geometry and they are usable on both the front and the rear of the car.

Muchmore Impact Linear LCG 5200mAh 4S LiPo battery

Coming from Muchmore is the new Impact Linear LCG FD2 5200mAh 14.8V LiPo battery pack. Offering a reduced height of 36mm the 4S pack is build from high-performance 110C cells for high power output in demanding racing conditions. The lower height compared to standard 4S packs makes for an overall lower centre of gravity, resulting in faster cornering of both off-road and on-road cars. The pack comes pre-wired with 10AWG wire, a T-type plug and an XH balancer connector.

Pro-Line adds realism with concrete 1:10 K-Rail

Pro-Line have introduced the True Scale concrete 1/10th K-Rail. Adding realism to any scale scene the K-Rails are good for the use as chicanes for off-road racing, race borders and obstacles for drifting, start and finish line borders for rock racing and rock crawling events, scale construction scene objects and borders, scale freeway dividers, or as a great way to display scale RC models. These K-rails will add an instant sense of scale dimension to any application. As a true-scale representation of the full size K-Rails they are made of real concrete and reinforced with steel rebar. They are easily paintable to fit right into any scene, be it stark white with high visibility for a race or construction scene, or to take it underground by adding street art or graffiti.

Xray T4 2017 – Coming soon

Xray is busy teasing their forthcoming 2017 kits with the latest being the ’17 edition of their popular T4 1/10th 4WD touring car. No details are known yet nor is an official release date but expect more information to surface shortly.

Modify Superior 64 pitch pinion gears

Modify have introduced their new Superior 64 pitch aluminium pinion gears. Machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminium and coming hard-anodised for wear the pinions are available in 25T to 50T sizes. Included is also a 3mm mounting grub screw.
