Serpent Eryx 4.0 touring car kit – Teaser

Coming soon from Serpent is the Eryx 4.0 electric touring car kit. The latest incarnation of the 411 platform will feature big bore shock absorbers and new shock towers, it becomes available with a 2mm aluminium or 2.25mm carbon chassis and the kit utilises a redesigned motor mount, smart mid-shaft pulley system and updated differential gears as well as an adjustable battery mount made up from carbon fibre and aluminium. The car will be on show during this weekend’s opening round of the 2015/16 ETS and more information become available soon.

Yuki Model HC-2284GG digital brushless servo

New from Yuki Model comes the HC-2284GG digital brushless servo. The standard-size item is high-voltage compatible, allowing to use it with up to 8.4V input. It features an all-alloy case, a brushless motor, durable titan gears and the servo is ideal for all applications that require swift transit times and a high torque such as 1/8th off-road and on-road cars.

Serpent S100-LTR 200mm pan car – Coming soon

Serpent have a first teaser of their forthcoming S100-LTR 200mm pan car kit available. The World GT car will feature a new centre pivot design, new adjustable steering blocks and upper arms, a redesigned chassis and top deck as well as a longer centre shock absorber. More information will become later this week.

Franchise Racing Products Lexan body stiffeners

Franchise Racing have a set of Lexan body stiffeners for a range of applications available. Including four front and four rear plates the set contains enough stiffeners for two touring car bodies. The parts just need to be cut out, bend at the lines and attached using double sided tape to prevent annoying body tucks or wobbly behaviour at high speeds.

Xray T4'16 2mm aluminium main chassis plate

Xray have introduced a 2mm aluminium main chassis plate for the T4’16 touring car. CNC machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised the chassis makes for improved car control, increased steering and better traction on low, medium and high-bite surfaces. The chassis is a direct fitment on both the T4’16 and ’15.

VBC Racing Wildfire D08 touring car kit

VBC Racing have introduced the latest incarnation of the Wildfire touring car, the D08. It is based off of the successful D07, adapting most of its features although subtle revisions will make for a more versatile, more durable and even faster car. The D08 builds on a redesigned 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis with minimal cut-outs, providing totally new flex characteristics with the chassis being able to torsionally flex throughout its entire length and not just in the middle of the car, resulting in higher corner speeds and more confidence when going through the corner.

Team Magic E4RS III+ electric touring car kit

Team Magic have introduced the E4RS III+ electric touring car kit. The follow-up model of the E4RS III, that was only introduced around eight month ago, features some subtle revisions with more than 90 percent of the parts remaining the same. Most of the modifications made will increase the car’s precision, corner speed and steering angle. The III+ builds on a symmetrical carbon fibre main chassis plate, the aluminium bulkheads feature 1-piece upper aluminium covers with ultra-thick shock towers and the optimised front steering knuckles sport an additional Ackermann mounting position while offering increased steering throw. Part of the package are also dual-joint front driveshafts, included is an aluminium spool body with steel outdrives, and the standard length shock absorbers are equipped with teflon shock guides and aluminium spring cups. Also included are low-profile battery guides, a laterally adjustable motor mount as well as orange, ultra fine-tune suspension inserts with 0.2mm increments. For current E4RS III owners Team Magic will also release an upgrade kit. The III+ is set for a release in the second week of December.

Xray Work.Shop XWS Morava – Announcement

Xray team driver and European Junior Champion, Kuba Simurda will hold an Xray Work.Shop at the forthcoming third round of the XWS Morava. Held on December 19th in the Jedovnice Sport Hall the workshop will focus on the T4 touring car with Kuba teaching interested drivers all setup secrets. Sign-up for the event is available here.
