Team Corally 1/10th formula car coming in 2016

Team Corally have released first renderings of their forthcoming 1/10th scale formula kit. The car is currently in prototype stages with the release being planned for the 2016 season. Nothing is known yet in terms of specifications and features but by the look of things the car is based on a class-standard carbon fibre chassis, it features sheet material front A-arms, dual roll dampers, it utilises an inline and transversal battery position and a standard link-type rear suspension. We will bring you more information as soon as they become available.

Max Power RP9.S 3.5cc nitro on-road engine

Max Power have a new 3.5cc nitro on-road engine available in the form of the RP9.S. This latest version of the engine was used at the European Championships in Ettlingen and it features a 9-port design, new shaft timing and a newly designed back plate. Other parts included are an easy-to-tune carburettor as well as different venturi inserts to fine-tune power and fuel consumption.

T-Works T4'15 titanium ball end set

T-Works now have a titanium ball end set for the Xray T4’15 touring car available. Made from the same material as T-Works’ screws and turnbuckles the 20-piece set will scrub some weight while adding visual impact and durability at the same time.

Serpent have introduced new option parts for the Viper 977 Evo as well as older specification 977 cars. First up is the carbon and aluminium chassis set for the latest Evo kit. Coming as a set the carbon fibre chassis included front and centre aluminium inserts, with the front one being used to control the flex of the chassis while the centre part below the engine adds rigidity and cooling surface. Specific to the chassis for the 977 Evo is a different front width and geometry but the chassis is also usable on older spec 977 kits. Included with the chassis, that scrubs around 60g of weight compared to the standard alloy chassis, come flanged aluminium brackets to hold the inserts in place without doing harm to the carbon material.

Protoform have introduced the new Nor’easter late model 1/10th scale dirt oval bodyshell. An evolution of PF’s line of race bodies and using the latest in aerodynamic styling from full-scale late models, the body has been refined to give even more steering and side bite. Extra clearance has been added around the right front fender and the front splitter reconfigured to allow for more body lean while the side skirts have also been enhanced for more rigidity and stability. Made to fit all the popular dirt oval late model pan car chassis, the Nor’easter meets all dirtoval.com national rulebook specs and comes with a pre-cut and pre-drilled spoiler kit complete with end plates and hardware. It is produced in genuine 030″ Lexan and also includes a detailed decal sheet featuring two different sets of headlight and grille options, window masks, and paint-then-peel overspray film.

Xray have announced a Greek T4 and NT1 Work.Shop for the 19th and 20th of September. The event will take place at the Fanatix Racing track in Stamata, Athens and Xray’s Alex Hagberg will be present to offer individual setup and tech support to all Xray T4 and NT1 drivers.
