Italian company WRC have a new bodyshell for 1/10th formula pan cars available. The 2015 style body offers a revamped nose section to mimic this year’s Formula 1 cars. A contoured side pod design and a reshaped engine cover further add to the new look. As usual the body comes clear and it fits WRC’s current formula chassis as well as many other cars.

Coming end of July is Yokomo’s latest incarnation of the club-level BD7 ver.RS electric touring car. The ver.RS3 offers some high-end features such as a graphite main chassis, graphite upper deck and graphite front and rear shock towers along aluminium upper bulkhead covers, aluminium split inner suspension mounts, aluminium motor mount and SLF short shock absorbers. Also included in the package are a front spool and a rear gear differential.

New from Flash Point R/C Racing Products is a 2S LiPo 7.4V 2500mAh battery pack. Made with the highest quality cells and using durable 20AWG silicone wire, the battery was designed not only as 1/10th and 1/8th scale nitro car receiver battery, but it can also be used to power most transmitters. Reds Racing have released their latest 3.5 cc 1/8th on-road competition nitro engine, the M7WCS V2.1. The latest spec engine has been specifically updated to improve reliability and performance by using a Japanese 7x19x6mm front bearing that is purpose-designed for high RPM. The new bearing is of a higher precision to offer better sealing compared to metal shielded bearings, while being of a low friction and highly reliable design. Also new with the M7WCS V2.1 comes a Japanese TS7 glow plug that guarantees easier tuning and a high reliability.

Sweep Racing have the 1/8 Vortex GT wing for nitro and electric GT cars available. Made from 1mm high-quality polycarbonate and featuring a build-in side dams design the wing also sports three bumps on each side of the lower portion to improve airflow and thus downforce while reinforcing ribs reduce vibration and deformation at high speeds. The wing is usable with a range of 1/8th GT bodies and it is available clear or pre-painted in a smoky black colour.

T.O.P. Racing have first images of their forthcoming Rebel F1X formula pan car available. No detailed features are known yet but looking at the preview images the car is based on a class-standard carbon fibre chassis with link-type rear suspension. The chassis seems to allow the use of inline or transversally mounted shorty LiPo packs and it sports an adjustable low-profile servo mount whose mounting angle can be altered using several mounting points for the aluminium mount. Up front the car features fixed lower A-arms with the upper arms being attached to the front aluminium bulkhead using pivot joints. Both the upper and lower arms are made of carbon fibre sheet material that use composite adapters to mount the steering knuckles to. Made for the X1 Formula car is the new 1-piece aluminium servo mount from Xray. CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and coming orange anodised the part improves the steering characteristics while eliminating unwanted tweak at the same time. The mount is a direct fit and designed to work with most low-profile servos.

Made from the same high-quality titanium material as their screws, ball ends and turnbuckles are T-Works’ new serrated wheel nuts. The M4 fasteners offer a large contact surface for improved wheel support while the serrated portion helps the nut to stay in place even in the most severe racing action. The M4 wheel nuts come in packs of four.
