New from Xray and made for the X1 formula car is an aluminium body post plate. The part allows the use of most of today’s front wings, who often have different body post mounting positions, and by using the plate, the position of the body post remains the same regardless the wing type. CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium and coming orange anodised the 4mm plate offers a high rigidity and improved looks.

Roche have new option parts for the Rapide P12 1/12th scale pan car available in the form of a narrow differential hub and an aluminium front brace set. Starting with the rear hub, the set allows to reduce the rear wide by 4mm in order to run different offset rims. Included are two 0.5mm spacers for fine-tuning the overall width. The second new part is an aluminium front brace set. Equipped with a rubber O-ring and width adjustable the brace makes for more steering going into the corner. Both the diff hub and front brace are made from high-quality aluminium and the parts come red anodised for looks and durability.

T-Works Europe have introduced two 7.4V standard size LiPo battery packs. Available as 6000mAh variant made from 70C cells and also coming as 5000mAh pack built from 65C cells, the packs are of standard dimensions, making them ideal for many on-road and off-road applications alike.

New from Radtec and made for Xray’s T4 line of touring cars are aluminium bearing hubs. Made from 7075-T6 material and coming orange anodised the alloy parts are designed to replace the standard composite parts and they can improve the efficiency of the drivetrain as well as lower the operation temperature of the gear differential as the metal parts allow for heat dissipation through the alloy bulkheads. The hubs come in 2-piece sets.

Japanese company GForce have introduced the Catapult high-performance line of LiPo hardcase battery packs. Available as 70C 5800mAh and 5200mAh and also as lightweight 60C 4200mAh and 3300mAh batteries all use high-quality and very durable cells for reliable performance over a long time. The hardcase packs utilise 4mm bullet type power and 2mm balancer connectors and they come including a pre-wired balance harness.

Hobbico have introduced the new TrakPower Century line of high-performance Century LiPo battery packs. Made using the latest generation of high-density cells with improved durability for reduced “swelling” tendencies even in high amp and high temperature conditions the packs offer high discharge rated due to their 100C rating. To allow for the best possible weight-to-power ratio the available capacities are carefully selected with Modified and Stock racers in mind. The range includes a 3.7V 1S pack, several 7.4V 2S and 14.8V 4S packs with bullet-type or Star plug connectors. Castle Creations have announced their new Mamba Monster X brushless speed controller for 1/8th scale buggies and trucks, 1/10th scale monster trucks and generally all vehicles of up to 6.8kg of weight. The 2S to 6S controller is usable with sensored and sensorless motors and it features an adjustable high-voltage BEC system capable of delivering 5.5V to 8.0V output and an additional auxiliary wire that allows to adjust parameters such as torque control and maximum throttle using the auxiliary channel on compatible transmitters. Data logging and Futaba T4PX-compatible telemetry features round out the package. The waterproof ESC with a footprint of 53x49mm weighs in at 111g and it will become available separately or as combo package including the Castle Creations 1515 2200kv or 1512 2650kv brushless motor.

Teamsaxo have a new soft weave carbon fibre chassis and top deck for the Yokomo BD7 touring car available. Cut from “soft” 2.25mm material the chassis in combination with the 2.0mm top deck will make for more torsional flex which can help increase traction and side bite in certain track conditions. Being only 85mm wide the chassis also makes for improved ground clearance during heavy cornering.
