Shepherd 1/10th scale Team Edition clutch

Hot on the heels of Shepherd’s Team Edition clutch for 1/8th nitro on-road cars comes a dedicated 1/10th version for the Velox V10 and other nitro cars. Based on the proven Velox Competition Clutch the new state-of-the-art lightweight reverse-type clutch is meant to offer excellent performance without any compromises. Featuring a black anodised 7075-T6 aluminium flywheel, a shiny aluminium pressure plate, special compound fly weights, a yellow PTFE clutch shoe and a new Shepherd clutch spring the Team Edition clutch will deliver consistent engagement and a powerful acceleration. To complete the set high quality bearings and the needed fastening material and shims are included. All parts are also available separately.

Reds Racing TX120 speed controller – Preview

Italian company Reds Racing have announced the soon release of their long-awaited TX120 brushless competition speed controller. Designed with modified and stock racing as well as on-road and off-road classes in mind the speedo will feature advanced tuning options, an ultra low-profile billet aluminium case, an add-on 30mm fan unit and more. Coming from Arrowmax and made for the use with the company’s on-road setup systems is this universal toe plate. It is made from strong yet lightweight polycarbonate, it features easily readable markings and helps to precisely adjust the toe settings on most on-road cars.

Team Associated Scion Racing FR-S & tC LiPo Combos

The latest in the line of Team Associated RTR vehicles that received the LiPo Combo treatment are the Apex Scion Racing FR-S and tC 1/10th touring cars. Both build on the all-wheel-drive Apex chassis, and they come fully assembled and ready-to-run with factory installed Reedy brushless motor and controller. Additional features include the XP water-resistant speed control and XP 2.4GHz radio system. The front and rear sealed metal gear differentials are connected together with a tough aluminium drive shaft that handles all of the Reedy brushless power. Imperfections in the road are managed by four adjustable fluid-filled coil-over tuned shocks. Both the FR-S and the tC are available in “road going” standard versions with high-grip racing tyres and also as drift variant with hard plastic drift-style wheels. As usual with the LiPo Combo offerings a Reedy 423-S 35W balance charger and WolfPack 3300mAh 30 LiPo battery pack round out the package.

WRC STX reinforced lightweight gear differential

New from Italian company WRC comes a reinforced lightweight gear differential for the STX electric touring car. The set comes with all needed parts to build a complete diff, including composite internals such as the gears and cross pin. The diff makes use of anodised aluminium outdrives and it is a direct replacement for the kit’s standard item.

Schumacher Mi5evo lightweight front spool

Schumacher have a new lightweight and more durable front spool for the Mi5evo touring car available. One of the main features is that the spool has steel outputs rather than the slider type interface included in the original kit. These will provide a longer life platform with less expense replacing sliders while also offering a lower weight.

Xray T4 ECS Extra Strong front driveshafts

Xray have introduced the new extra strong ECS double joint driveshafts for the T4 line of touring cars. Being of a reinforced design compared to the standard ECS shafts the ES version offers improved durability, making them especially useful in modified classes. Generally dual joint driveshafts reduce wheel chatter at high steering angles with the ECS ES items being available in a 50mm and 52mm variant.

Team Associated’s new Factory Team fluid carrier helps to easily store and transport up to 16 bottles of shock and differential fluid bottles. Offering 16 compartments and a zipper enclosure to keep contents secure, the top flap’s inner pocket adds extra storage, and the fabric handle makes carrying comfortable.
